You have beautiful feathers, youthful like a peacock, your head adorned with pure white lotus flowers, your tail feathers colorful, surrounded by rainbow-like patterns, your limbs like real lotuses. The sound of language is emptiness, without arising or ceasing, connecting with the swift and profound path of the Dharani mantra, and the aspiration for liberation through hearing. In general, the people of the world harbor malice, therefore your appearances are full of suspicion. In the realm of unattached, completely liberated realization, bird, the result of the habitual imprints of your alaya consciousness, resting peacefully and comfortably, how pitiful! Even through the offering of tiny food, it is impossible to liberate you from the city of samsara. The Omniscient Great One said: "Those who are bound by strong bonds, whose behavior is extremely bad, who are not weary of samsara, who have no faith, who do not do good, who commit evil deeds, who do not think of the Dharma, who violate vows and samayas, are called those who are cut off from lineage and have eight kinds of leisurelessness." Those who belong to this category are very quick to engage in sinful deeds. There is nothing surprising about obtaining a human body. Now, although such an animal has a pure mind, it cannot express it in words, so there is no opportunity to benefit it with the truth of the holy Dharma. Therefore, it is said: Now, even if you don't know anything else, it doesn't matter, just say once ཨོཾ་མ་ཎི་པདྨེ་ཧཱུྃ། (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་མ་ཎི་པདྨེ་ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओ मणि पद्मे हूँ, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: oṃ maṇi padme hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Om Mani Padme Hum), and you will immediately become a perfect Buddha, and a glorious crown will appear on your head.
