He is the teacher of the Dharma, not other deities such as Vishnu and the powerful one. If there are some among Vishnu and the powerful ones who possess all these qualities completely, then we should also prostrate, make offerings, and show respect to them in every way. Thus, it is well said. Moreover, in the "Inconceivable Secret Sutra," it is also said: From the time the Bhagavan Buddha attained enlightenment until he passed into nirvana, he did not utter even a single syllable that arose from the effort of the tongue and palate. The reason for this is that he does not have breathing in and out, nor does he have conceptualization. Although this is the case, in accordance with the thoughts of sentient beings, with infinite voices, like the minds of sentient beings, the sound of the teaching of all vehicles arises. Just as the sky pervades, the sound of speech pervades and teaches the Dharma. On Vulture Peak (Gijjhakuta), relying on Maitreya, when teaching the Dharma called "The Mandala of Sound Completely Pure," Maudgalyayana's son (Maudgalyayana) wanted to measure the boundary of the Buddha's voice and went to the world called Light Banner. The Tathagata Light Banner declared: From beyond the world with as many grains of sand as there are ninety-nine tributaries of the Ganges, you have come here. As much as the sky pervades, so much does the Tathagata's voice pervade. As he said, in order to accord with the thoughts of those to be tamed, he expounds all eighty-four thousand collections of Dharma, which is the inconceivable secret of speech. In the "Great Array Sutra, Samantabhadra's Prayer of Conduct," it is also said: The language of gods, the language of nagas and yakshas, the language of kumbhandas and humans, as many sounds as there are of all beings, I will teach the Dharma in all those languages. Thus it is said. Even if the letters, mantras, and some words of the Great Perfection and other tantras do not match the sounds and letters of India (རྒྱ་གར།), there is no fault. In the "Entering the Bodhisattva's Way of Life," it says: May all embodied beings constantly hear the sound of the Dharma from birds, trees, and all rays of light, and even from the sky. Like the self-born wisdom Dharmakaya, without moving from the suchness of the nature of reality, he speaks.

Since the Vajra Enjoyment Body is the indestructible self-sound, even the Omniscient One does not incur the fault of contradicting Sanskrit letters and the like. Some things are spoken of by naming them with the terms of the Tathagatas, which are not known in either the world or the treatises. As it says in the Lamp Illuminating [the Guhyasamaja Tantra], 'The sounds such as koṭākṣa (藏文,梵文天城体,koṭākṣa,literal meaning: koṭākṣa) become the terms of the Tathagatas, [but] are not known from the world or the treatises.' Therefore, just as the ten winds are named by way of the terms of ten names, relying on words alone is without essence. Some words that seem like repetitions, such as in the Kalachakra [Tantra], 'Omniscient One, Wisdom Body,' are like spoken repetitions. Some, like the Pervader, are designated as the Omniscient One, and in order to eliminate the need for the Hearers, Solitary Realizers, and Buddhas who speak of consciousness, and for the Wisdom Body to have form, the names of the Buddha are repeated, such as Omniscient One, Wisdom Body, Day-Maker, and Eyes like lotus petals blooming. Because there are faultless repetitions, it is not necessarily the case that all repetitions are faulty. Regarding synonyms of names, etc., in the Stainless Light [Commentary], it says, 'In this method of mantra, evaṃ (藏文,梵文天城体,evaṃ,literal meaning: evaṃ) itself is not a name, but one entity has many names. Because there are many names, only one name is primary, because all the names cause one to understand the same thing. For example, among woman, female, and young woman, woman alone is not the primary name, because all of them cause one to understand the entity that has breasts and hair.' Therefore, there is no contradiction in designating Rahu as Pervader, and designating the god Pervader as Kos rje drang dkar For all the gods, nagas, and spirits, each one appears to have many different names, and some are named according to the customs of different regions. For example, the twenty-eight constellations have names in the language of the treatises, and many names given by people of different regions. For the Great Powerful One alone, there are many names such as Powerful One, Lord of Cattle, Blue-Necked One, Lord of Uma, Gulang, Bliss-Maker, Great Wrathful One, and so on, so clinging to one name is a great mistake. In general, such names and words
