There is no Buddha who, without realizing from the ground, pervades and gives liberation. Sentient beings are Buddhas; there is no other great Buddha in this world.

Just as there is a lord in the belly, and just as there is the form of a precious object in the ground, similarly, this realm also exists in the hearts of sentient beings who are obscured by the defilements of sudden afflictions. And so on. Moreover, in all the instructions of the Dagpo Kagyu lineage, the necessity of subduing awareness through the manner of looking is: The key to conceptualization lies in the wind, the key to the wind lies in the veins, and the key to the veins lies in the eyes. If the eyes are closed, it disappears and travels between the upper and lower winds. If the eyes are opened, then the existence of the heart between the upper and lower winds is also revealed. The Bhawanta vein also looks upward and opens its mouth, and a primordial state arises in which awareness is clear and there is no conceptualization. Therefore, it is said that the manner of looking is important, and the meaning is spoken because of such key points. Therefore, those who do not wish to abide in the base in this way are a sign of turning their backs on the reality of the base, the meaning of the unsurpassable Vajrayana. 2 Three eons and seven lifetimes, six months, one year, sixty months, those of the vehicle of exertion, since this nature of non-exertion has been taught, abide in the bliss of effortless accomplishment. Thus, disparaging all the paths of both Sutra and Tantra, merely attaining Great Perfection is said to be enlightenment, and so on. In general, it is customary to praise the great qualities in the self-doctrine of all dharmas. Shantideva said: Yogis are also harmed by the superior ones due to the difference in their intelligence. Thus he said, and also the Pacification of Dampa Sangye, and in later times it is said: The characteristic vehicle and, the pinnacle of all mantra paths is Mahamudra or, Great Perfection. And the great venerable Tilopa said: With the dharma of mind, one does not see the meaning beyond mind. With the dharma of action, one does not realize the meaning of non-action. If you wish to attain the meaning of beyond mind and non-action, cut off your own mind and leave it naked in awareness. Make the water of the defilements of conceptualization clear. Do not create affirmation or negation of appearances, leave them in their own place. If there is no acceptance or rejection, then liberation in Mahamudra. Thus, and the Vinaya Pitaka and other dharmas, and, one's own treatises and tenets, cannot see the clear light Mahamudra. Because attachment arises, the clear light is obscured by not seeing it. The vows of protection of conceptualization are weakened in meaning. Thus, and Zhang Rinpoche said: On the single decision of Mahamudra, to calculate the grounds and paths is a foolish mistake.

If these statements denigrate all paths of Sutra and Tantra, and prevent liberation and enlightenment through mere hearing, then, in the past Buddha's time, countless retinues attained selflessness by merely hearing a single Dharma word, obtained forbearance of the unborn Dharma, saw the truth, and generated inconceivable doors of Samadhi in their continuums, and so on. There were very many such examples. In India, there were also Brahmin fathers and sons, Shavari, Prince Sakara, and many others. In Tibet, there were also Phagmo Drupa, Lingre, Zhang Rinpoche, So Chungwa, and many other people who attained sudden enlightenment. By merely hearing a single instruction, they simultaneously attained realization and liberation. If all of you denigrate the paths of Sutra and Tantra, you will become misguided accomplished ones. 2. Regarding the statement that "by wearing letters and wheels (mandalas), one can be liberated in this life or even in the bardo," if you prevent those who attain liberation by wearing letters and wheels, dharanis and mantras, then you must negate almost all the statements in the Sutra and Tantra scriptures. For example, the Hevajra and Sambhuti say: "A twelve-finger-long scripture, written by a vow-holder. Written images and scriptures, if seen by the uninitiated, will not have accomplishment in this life." It also says: "In the use of scriptures on the road, hide them in the hair and armpits." Also, the Action Tantra says: "King of Gods, Tathagata, the secret essence of the glorious king who purifies the evil destinies, whatever son or daughter of any lineage, merely hearing its name and holding it, is the benefit of the supreme root tantra." The Later Tantra of the Guhyasamaja says: "Or reading, or writing, and then wearing it on the crown of the head, arm, or neck, then in this life there will be no eight untimely deaths, or dreams related to untimely deaths, or signs related to evil destinies, will not appear even in dreams." And so on, there are many. In the Ushnishavijaya Dharani that purifies all evil destinies, it says: "King of Gods, whether a Bhikshu, Bhikshuni, Upasaka, Upasika, or anyone else, if this dharani is written and placed on the top of a banner, seeing it, or being near it, even being touched by its shadow, or being blown by the wind of its dust
