In general, the Seven Treasures, and especially from the fourteenth chapter of the Supreme Vehicle Treasure, are only to be studied sequentially. Why? Generally, the near path of the Secret Mantra Vajrayana is only to focus on the key points of the three: channels, bindu, and winds. And within that, there are two ways: with effort and with elaboration, and without effort and without elaboration. The former is the coarse channels and winds, the common path of diligent effort. In particular, the profound path of the third empowerment, taking the conventional bindu as the path, includes searching for the consort, attracting, relying, searching for the channels, grasping, uniting, actually descending the bindu, grasping, reversing, spreading, mixing with the winds, repeatedly practicing in the nature of reality, and afterwards examining the experience, and relying on the experience of inverting body and mind, and so on. The key instruction for that is to grasp the bindu at the time of the action wind, and at the time of wisdom to reverse the bindu and implant the channels, which is to spread. And here, the latter is the path without elaboration, which is extremely profound, taking the clear light manifest bindu as the path, restraining through posture and gaze. At the beginning, by meditating on the bindu emptiness like a lamp flame, from the appearance of clear light being used in the mixture of day and night, the skill is gradually perfected. Perfecting in that way is the merit of knowing the location of the inner vajra body and putting it into practice. Therefore, here, the basis for the path of the three kayas appearing in the appearances is relying on the pure essence located in the center of the heart, and the clear light channel connected to it, appearing like rays of light radiating from the subtle channels in all directions. Therefore, the Tathagatagarbha is said to pervade all. In this way, although the manifestations of essence, nature, and compassion exist limitlessly, the part of the essence that is emptiness is obscured by the alaya and the eight consciousnesses, the part of the nature that is clear as the five lights is obscured by the mass of flesh and blood, and the part of compassion that is the cause of manifestation is obscured by karma and habitual tendencies. In this way, if a diligent person is obscured, if he becomes accustomed to the measure of the four appearances, then it will exist as it is now. In the bardo, it will temporarily appear as the pure self-appearance is. Now, like being wrapped in a newly hatched eagle egg, it is obscured by those things just mentioned, the lion displaying its power.

From [text]: In the very body of all sentient beings, there dwells the light of pure wisdom. However, it is not able to appear due to being obscured by vastness, like the covering of a womb and an egg. Although it does not appear and is obscured, it manifests once its own potential is complete. As soon as this body of conceptual thought appears, it will encounter its own perceived realm. Thus it is said. Therefore, in the time of samsara, the Sugata-garbha itself is enveloped by an ordinary body, hence it is called 'having a body'; enveloped by the net of the eight consciousnesses, hence it is called 'sentient being'; enveloped by the close taking of actions and habitual tendencies, hence it is called 'having obscurations'; obscured by the nature of ignorance, hence it is called 'darkness'. Such are the names given. Such a state of clear light, hidden in all the lower tantras, should be brought to manifestation here, and one should understand it for oneself. Fourth, the method of practice through the path is twofold: showing the empowerment that ripens as the gateway to enter, and showing the key point of the liberating essence path. The first has four parts: the basis for entering empowerment, the actual path of empowerment, the ripening of the result of completion, and the certainty of those vows. The first also has four parts: the qualities of the master who bestows empowerment, the nature of the disciple to be empowered, the Dharma to be practiced in common, and the activity of empowerment, how empowerment is bestowed. The first is: From the Root Tantra: The Vajradhara master will explain the order in detail. The master who is complete with qualities is the field of the source of all qualities, the basis for holding complete enlightenment. Thus, all the qualities befitting a master are complete, and all faults are absent. In particular, one should possess six qualities: having completely abandoned the things of samsara, having few desires and being content, being skilled in practice and having experience, being skilled in the words and meaning of the tantras and being diligent in practice, being skilled in the meaning of the view and having complete ability, and having great compassion and being happy to give. That is enough. This opens up the supreme vehicle, helps in practice, and removes obstacles on the bhumis and paths. However, if one is arrogant like a king in the world, or a fool who boasts of lineage and so on as the qualities of a spiritual friend, or one who has heard a little but turns away from the true meaning, does not think about the meaning of the profound secret mantra, and speaks harshly to everyone, and so on, these are false friends.
