The appearance of grasping at the duality of knower and known causes samsara to become a great emptiness where nothing exists. The key to directly seeing one's own face is the natural abiding of mindfulness and thought. If it is extended outwards, thoughts become empty. Having liberated internally and externally into a realm without location, bliss awakens in non-thought, which is called enlightenment. Because it is free from action, it transcends thought, consideration, and mind. Whatever appears arises without support, therefore there is no dharma of an object. Whatever arises dissolves in that very moment, thus losing the source of abandonment and attachment. Appearances and cognitions arise in equal taste, therefore it is called having no nature of cause and effect. In summary, these can be condensed into four: non-action, adornment, suchness, and the expanse of play. The first is: For any dharma, do not rely on the effort of acceptance and rejection, and do not transcend the great suchness of self-liberation without action, that is, it is inherently grasped without doing, inherently reached without going, inherently purified without training, and inherently accomplished without practice, abiding in this way. Even if one strives through change and modification, just as the color black cannot be turned into white, it should be regarded as the great state of natural abiding and inherent descent. The second is: No matter how appearances move, since awareness has no acceptance or rejection, appearances inherently arise as the adornment of mind. Emptiness is inherently accomplished as an adornment that cannot be grasped. The adornment without negation or affirmation naturally arises, which is called the great view of self-luminous spontaneous accomplishment. The third is: By abiding in the natural state without fabrication, the place from which everything comes cannot be found. By abiding in the state of self-luminous self-sustaining, there is no suchness of abiding here. Since the essence has no change, the source of going is lost. Everything abides in the expanse of suchness, unrestrained and without distinction, while the various manifestations of play are experience and clarity. All the changes of the outer and inner worlds, just like not moving from the expanse of the sky, for the unobtained knower and known, entering without hope and fear is primordially pure. The fourth is: Through being free from the aspect of "is", in the state where play arises unceasingly, all the dharmas of samsara and nirvana, appearance and mind, do not waver, possessing an unchanging nature. Through being free from the aspect of "is not", since commitment and attachment are not established, one should know that the vast emptiness free from extremes is like the sky. Thus, the divisions of the mind are said to be limitless, and what has been stated above is just a part. In summary, it can be condensed into nine aspects: the expanse without change in view, the expanse without "is" and "is not" in meditation, the expanse without hope and fear in the result, the essence
