Regarding the meaning of vastness and diligence, there are two ways of explaining the Ati Yoga, the Great Perfection of Intrinsic Nature, which is the non-dual tantra. It is superior to the lower vehicles and directly explains the Great Secret. Firstly, all the lower vehicles are characterized by diligent practice, acceptance, and rejection. Due to the obscurations of fabrication and hope, they obscure the spontaneously arisen wisdom, the self-perfected nature, and the great freedom, the naturally liberated, unconditioned view, thus deviating from it. Therefore, at the time of touching the true reality, as stated in the tantra where the view is equal to space, the *Kunjed Gyalpo* (All-Creating King): “Emaho! Great Bodhisattva, listen! The three teachings of the three teachers of samsara are deviations and obscurations. How is that so? The six vehicles that have attained certainty are taught as deviations from the Great Perfection.” After generally pointing out the deviations, they are distinguished by their respective natures, thus clearly explaining them. As stated in the same tantra: “How is that so? The sutras of the Bodhisattva desire the ground of all-pervading light, with the speculation of the two truths, they regard the emptiness of reality as space. The great bliss of Ati Yoga is the Bodhicitta that transcends speculation. The path that transcends speculation is obscured by the sutras. The speculation of the Great Perfection is said to be a deviation in the sutras.” So, is the Dharma that does not rely on the two truths the same as the view of the Samkhya school, which claims that cause and effect are completely different? It is not so, because there are no causes and conditions such as the producer and the cause of production. From the beginning, the nature is like space, beyond change and diligence, the purity and impurity of the ultimate truth do not limit the nature of reality in any way, and there are no conventional and ultimate Dharmas in the realm of clear light. As stated in the *Kunjed Gyalpo*: “It cannot be determined by the two truths. There are two truths in one certainty. For the uncertain and doubtful teachings, how can it be determined as one? The yogi who boasts of Dharma speaks relying on the teachings of cause and effect in the three thousand worlds, that requires the two truths and the four valid cognitions. Since the *Kunjed Gyalpo* base has created all Dharmas, the Dharma I have created does not need the two truths. Does the Dharma I have created need the two truths? Everything I have created has become Bodhicitta. Bodhi”

In Bodhicitta, there is no distinction between conventional and ultimate. Thus it is. Similarly, for all the lower tantras, the deviations and obscurations of abandonment and remedy are as follows: In the Kunjed Gyalpo Tantra, whose view is equal to the sky, it says: Alas! Those who wish to hold the Kriya Vajra, having entered the three pure gates, abide in the realm of pure grasping and being grasped. The great bliss of Ati Yoga is the Bodhicitta that transcends grasping and being grasped. Kriya obscures that which transcends grasping and being grasped. Dzogchen, which clings to grasping and being grasped, is said to be deviated into Kriya. The view and practice of Upa Yoga is that because it is not related to Kriya practice, the meaning of non-duality is not realized. The great bliss of Ati Yoga is the non-dual Bodhicitta. Upa obscures the non-dual (state). Dzogchen, which clings to duality, is said to be deviated into Upa Yoga. Those who wish to establish dense Yoga, having entered the gates of signs and non-signs, mainly practice the four mudras, but cannot enter the realm of non-acceptance and non-rejection. The great bliss of Ati Yoga is the Bodhicitta without acceptance and rejection. Yoga obscures that which is without acceptance and rejection. Dzogchen, which clings to acceptance and rejection, is said to be deviated into Yoga. Those who wish to be Maha Vajradhara, having entered the gates of means and wisdom, in the mandala of their own pure lineage, practice the four stages of approach and accomplishment. The great bliss of Ati Yoga is the Bodhicitta that transcends effort and practice. Maha obscures that which transcends effort and practice. Dzogchen, which clings to effort and practice, is said to be deviated into Maha Yoga. Those who wish to attain the indivisible ground of Anu, having entered the gates of space and wisdom, for all phenomena that appear as such, view the cause as the pure space, and the result as the wisdom mandala deity. The great bliss of Ati Yoga is the Bodhicitta that transcends cause and effect. Anu obscures that which transcends cause and effect. Dzogchen, which clings to both cause and effect, is said to be deviated into Anu Yoga. Thus it is. Then, one might wonder, why is it necessary to teach those lower vehicles? Because impure samsara and the path, etc., are produced by the power of cause and effect, so for those practitioners who mainly rely on the path of cause and effect, it is taught for the sake of those with medium and lower faculties. Because in the meaning of the purity of the essence of space, there are no phenomena of cause and effect, so for those with sharp faculties, this kind of naturally abiding meaning is taught, without needing to modify or change it.
