He said, "Build a hundred thousand stupas, and your sins will be purified." The king said, "I cannot do that, nor can I find relics." Then the Arhat said, "You have been prophesied by the Buddha, so if you practice Yaksha, you can build them. Moreover, the relics are the share of King Ajatashatru, contained in six 'brepo' of Magadha in a golden vase, buried in the Auma Garden of Rajagriha; taking that out will suffice." Thereupon, the king went to retrieve the relics, but they were guarded by a wheel of weapons and could not be taken. Knowing that the wheel was powered by water, he inquired where the water came from. No one knew. An old woman said, "It comes from Mount Yagi in the southwest." It is said that this mountain is south of Rajagriha, stretching long from east to west. On the north side of it is the lush Auma Garden. The head of the mountain is in the southwest of Rajagriha, so they dug there and cut off the one stream of water flowing from a stone box. The wheel of weapons stopped, and when they looked, there was writing on a small box: "In the future, a poor king will find it." The king, arrogant with pride, said, "I am not poor; another must be the one to find this." The Arhat said, "Do not be arrogant, but respectfully take it up." Heeding his words, he looked and inside the small box was a golden vase containing relics. At the four corners of it were four radiant jewels, each of which was worth more than the king's entire kingdom, so he realized that he himself was poor. His previous arrogance vanished, realizing how wealthy the previous kings had been. Then, listening to the Arhat's words, he practiced Yaksha and accomplished the Yaksha named "Great Vehicle," who delights in white. Merely giving an order would accomplish the task. Through the Yaksha's miraculous power, he first built Gandhola in Bodh Gaya, and then on the east bank of the Nairanjana River in Bodh Gaya, he built the stupa named "Ghagala Rahula Jowo Chokyong" in one night. Half of the relics were enshrined inside it. The next night around midnight, that Yaksha all parts of Jambudvipa

Then, one hundred thousand stupas with stone cores containing relics were built simultaneously. The yaksha said, "As you wish, the stupas are completed, please see." King Mithukhur instantly traveled to all the stupas, offering gold and silver and ornaments. He prayed, "May I attain the unsurpassed perfect enlightenment through this root of virtue." Thus, for eighty-seven years, he made offerings to these great stupas. In general, after living for one hundred and fifty years, he passed away and was reborn as a god. This king is also very clearly mentioned in the Manjushri Root Tantra, and in the Sutra of the Fortunate Aeon, he is known to be the messenger proclaiming the great drum of truth of the prophecy that "his relics will increase." It is said that the relics enshrined in the white stupa of Samye Monastery (built around 767-779 AD) in Tibet are small relics that grew from the relics of King Ajatashatru of Magadha, which were brought from the lotus garland stupa of India. The urn containing the relics was given to those of the Brahmin caste who were equal to the 'Brewa' measure. The ashes from the cremation were taken by the Brahmin Nyagrodha, who each took them and built great stupas. The third part has two points: how the Holy Dharma was collected, and how long the teachings will last. The first point is: In order to dispel slanders such as, "For the gods who live for many aeons by the Ganges, the teachings of the Teacher have become like smoke from a extinguished fire, and the powerful monks have also passed away, so the three pitakas are not recited," and in order to follow the Buddha's teachings, Kashyapa ordered Gampo to beat the Ghandi. He also entered profound meditation and struck the Ghandi, and everyone except the cowherd gathered, but one was missing, not reaching five hundred Arhats. So Gampo was sent to invite that one who had not come, and he said that he had learned of the Buddha's Nirvana, so he asked the Sangha for permission, handed over his robes and bowl, and then passed into Nirvana. When Kashyapa heard of this, he made a rule that from now on, no Arhat should pass into Nirvana until the collection of the teachings is completed.
