There is no one like me. I alone have attained perfect enlightenment. I have become cool, and defilements have ceased. After saying this, they asked again: Are you an Arhat? He replied: I am the Arhat of the world. I am the unsurpassed teacher. Including gods, asuras, and gandharvas, I have no equal. After saying this, they asked again: Do you claim to be a victor? He replied: Whoever has attained the cessation of defilements, I have conquered the laws of evil. Therefore, I am the victor who has conquered evil. After saying this, they wrote: Go'

From there (referring to the previous location), a definite understanding of the correct path arose, possessing the nature of virtue in the beginning, middle, and end, and became the object of a monk covered in robes like a rainbow. There, one dresses like a householder. First, in the Vinaya Pitaka, which is the basis of the precepts, it says: "One should definitely learn to wear the Dharma robes in a round manner." And so on, including these precepts. Then, thinking about where the great wheel of Dharma would be turned on the fourth day of the Water-star month, in the place where the previous Buddhas had turned the wheel, a thousand thrones of seven jewels appeared. In order to generate respect and affection for the thrones of the three past Buddhas, he made prostrations and circumambulations, and then on the fourth throne, like wiping a golden statue, he sat upright without hesitation. After that, the five monks also prostrated. When they sat with reverence, rays of light emanated from his body, and eighteen auspicious signs appeared. The continuity of suffering was cut off. Inconceivable beings such as Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the ten directions, as well as gods, nagas, yakshas, gandharvas, asuras, garudas, etc., arrived in an instant, bowed at his feet, and sat down. At that time, Brahma offered a thousand-spoked wheel made of gold, adorned with all kinds of forms, rivaling the sun, which had been used by the previous Buddhas, and prayed with a mind focused on turning the wheel of Dharma. At that time, a golden deer king emerged from the twin forests, gazing at the top of the wheel and abiding there. The assembled retinue also sat gazing only at the face of the Tathāgata (Sanskrit: तथागत, IAST: tathāgata, literal meaning: thus-gone), and the Victor himself remained silent during the first part of the night. In the middle of the night, the conversation gradually increased. In the last part of the night, he said to the five monks: "Monks, these two extremes should not be pursued by those who have gone forth, namely the extreme of indulging in desires and the extreme of toil and exhaustion. Therefore, having abandoned the two extremes, the Tathāgata teaches the Dharma of the Middle Way." Thus opening their understanding, with one utterance of turning the first wheel of Dharma—the twelve aspects of the Four Noble Truths—the many retinues each heard the words that suited them, hearing the different teachings of the three vehicles. In this great thousandfold world, there exists ninety-four kotis (Tibetan: བྱེ་བ་ཁྲག་ཁྲིག་བརྒྱ་སྟོང་ཕྲག་དགུ་བཅུ་རྩ་བཞིར་, literal meaning: ninety-four hundred million trillion) of the sole hidden place of the Four Truths.

It was called rain. At that time, the gods praised. In the first assembly, Kauṇḍinya and many gods attained the path of seeing. Secondly, he accomplished the Three Jewels with the Arhatship. The other four also attained the path of seeing. Thirdly, the other four also attained Arhatship. At that time, the five good groups built the Dharma Wheel Stupa, the Auspicious Many-Doored Stupa. Then, he went to Magadha and taught the Dharma to the sixty people of the Good Group, and they all became Arhats and were sent to travel around the country. He taught the Dharma to the Brahmin of Sarnath, including his wife, and to the two daughters named Good Birth who offered milk porridge, causing them to see the truth. Kāśyapa, who was one hundred and twenty years old and had attained the Samadhi of the Peak of Existence, was considered by people to be an Arhat. He came with five hundred ascetics with matted hair, and his two brothers, each with two hundred and fifty attendants, to the ascetic who was practicing austerities on the bank of the Nerañjanā River, subdued him by displaying miracles, and led him to believe in the truth. Śārikā, the daughter of the Brahmin Evil Abode, and Śāriputra, the emanation of the removal of obscurations born from the union of the Brahmin White King, and the son of Maudgalyāyana, born from the union of Maudgalyāyana, the wealthy wife of the shipmaster Dhana Kauṇḍinya in front of the royal palace, both of whom were accustomed to the Vedas. With two hundred and fifty students, they took ordination in the presence of the Teacher by saying "Come hither," becoming Śāriputra, the foremost in wisdom, and Maudgalyāyana, the foremost in miraculous powers, this excellent pair soon attained Arhatship. In the Kāśyapa lineage, there was one named Nyagrodha, who was born, who had abandoned desires. His parents did not allow him to ordain, so he stayed at home for twelve years. Eventually, after his parents passed away, he gave away the family's wealth in charity and came to Rājagṛha, where he met the Teacher. There, he said, "Venerable Bhagavan, you are my teacher, and I am your disciple." The Teacher also agreed, so he ordained and took full ordination. The Teacher gave him the teaching on the five aggregates, and through meditation, he attained the stream-entry on that day. For eight days, he transcended the stage of learning, and on the ninth day, he became an Arhat, known as the Great Disciple Kāśyapa, praised as the foremost among those who know the rituals. Similarly, the secret
