Thus it should be known. Although the Hearers realize the selflessness of the person, they do not truly realize the selflessness of phenomena. Solitary Buddhas, on top of that, realize that half of the external objects of phenomena are non-existent, but they do not realize that the internal grasping is non-existent. As it is said in the Ornament for Clear Realization: "In order to eliminate the conceptualization of the object of grasping, and because the grasping is not eliminated, like the path of the rhinoceros horn of dependence, it should be known by summarizing it correctly." As it is said, the definition of that is: The desire to become a solitary Buddha alone is called a Solitary Buddha. The necessity is to be liberated from samsara. The result is the accumulation of merit and the rhinoceros horn, which are the two types of Arhats. This is also said in the Self-Arisen Wisdom: "Ahe, listen, Lord of Secrets, The vehicle of the Solitary Conquerors' Sutras, The gateway to enter is the twelve links of dependent origination. The view of realization is the selflessness of the person, And seeing half of the phenomena as existent. The discipline to be protected is to protect the two hundred and fifty precepts. The stages of meditation are to meditate on the non-conceptual nature of reality. The external and internal dependent origination, When accustomed to, become powerful, And are considered the ultimate result. That also has this example: For example, like a corpse in a charnel ground, Having gone to the charnel ground, From where did this corpse first arise? Like that, What is the essence of this? Like that, it is illustrated by example. That also arises from ignorance, From ignorance, this is done, Action, consciousness. From consciousness, name arises, From name, the nature of form arises, From form, the six sense sources arise, From the six sense sources, contact arises, From contact, feeling arises, From feeling, craving arises, From craving, grasping arises, From grasping, existence arises, From existence, birth arises, From birth, aging arises, From aging, sickness arises, From sickness, death arises. Like that, meditate on the twelve links of dependent origination. By the merit of meditating like that, The result of the twelve grounds is attained. Meditate on the eight aspects of ugliness, If you go in the direction of the charnel ground, On your own body, think like this: First, imagine it as blue-green, Then imagine it as red, And imagine it as black, Likewise, imagine it as swollen, And imagine it as eaten.

Similarly, it is considered to be various worm infestations and scattered. Similarly, that is completely pure. That is the antidote to desire, cultivating the eight aspects of impurity. Because there is no hearing and learning, it is considered the self-realized Pratyekabuddha Vehicle. This shows it very clearly. Thus, from the two vehicles of the Lesser Vehicle, emptiness and compassion, from the perspective of these two, to specifically explain, the nature of the Bodhisattva Pitaka of the Noble Ones, if we say a little about its nature, the essence of this Great Vehicle is, realizing all phenomena as like the sky, with compassion performing vast benefit for others, action is the cause or method, the definition is leading to the great liberation, the sacred city, therefore it is called the Great Vehicle. The necessity is to enable those with great wisdom to attain Buddhahood. The result is after the completion of the five paths, abiding in the land of all-pervading light. That is also the nature of the path, entering after knowing the nature of the two truths with sharp faculties and great mental strength. If classified, there are two schools of thought, the Mind-Only School and the Middle Way School. The first can also be divided into, if separated, it should be understood like this. True appearance and false appearance, the former Mind-Only School true appearance, appearing as various red and white phenomena, all of this nature of appearance, is the appearance of one's own consciousness, only the appearance of external objects, just like on the branch of a tree opposite the pond, the wish-fulfilling jewel that is tied, when its image appears in the water, the image of the jewel appears outside. If classified, there are three aspects. Here it is explained extensively. Similarly, the Mind-Only School false appearance, all the various external appearances, appearing as illusions in the part of consciousness, the habits of appearance are false dharmas, consciousness is not true, and the consciousness that measures it is also, measuring and experiencing with falsehood, there is no measuring with truth, both the object and consciousness are illusory dharmas, considered to be of false nature. If classified, there are two kinds of intentions, with defilements and without defilements. The second great Middle Way School, the Svatantrika and Prasangika, from the two classifications, the view of the Svatantrika is, like this various appearances, the image and the measurer all, not, only a bright appearance, and this is the meaning.
