Please look at what is said. The ninth question is this: Are the three bodies of one essence or not one? If they are one, then the Dharmakaya and Sambhogakaya, both, should be visible to all beings. If they are not one, will the Buddha become good or bad uncertainly? This is the question, and the answer is this: If the three bodies have different essences, then the Dharma of the basis, path, and result, no matter how much is taught, is meaningless. Therefore, in the Pearl Rosary it says: The three bodies are the one and only Buddha, possessing the five characteristics of wisdom, the way of abiding is established by the state of knowable things. It is said that its nature is: inner clarity is the basis of manifestation, the Dharmakaya; outer clarity is the appearance of those to be tamed, the Sambhogakaya and Nirmanakaya manifest and act. Like the moon and its reflection, manifesting to tame those to be tamed, it is considered the manifestation of the path of no learning. All are completely pure Dharma, of the same taste in the play of wisdom, but the way of appearance and essence are different, and have not become the object of manifestation for the eye consciousness of all those to be tamed. This principle is very important, so it is wonderful to present it as the basis of the question. If you want to know the nature in detail, you should understand it in the last room of the Supreme Vehicle Ratnakosa. Then the tenth question is: In the transmission of the Victorious Ones' intention, are there words and letters? If not, where did the tantras come from? If there are, it contradicts the transmission of intention. This is the question, and the answer is this: In general, all Dharmas do not completely go beyond the transmission of intention. The supreme teacher, the perfectly enlightened Buddha, according to the conceptual thoughts of the three types of beings, although he taught the three vehicles, in reality he did not speak a single word. In the Sutra of the Array of Merits it says: I have not said anything, but it appears universally to sentient beings. So its essence is: the light of compassion of his intention, in the conceptual mind of the listener, appears like an echo. The reason for this is in the Uttaratantra, just as sound and image are similar, arising from the conceptual mind of others, without conceptual thought and without fabrication. Therefore, the words of the Tathagata, without conceptual thought and without fabrication, do not reside inside or outside. Therefore, although it is the Dharma taught by the Buddha through intention, it appears as words in the minds of those to be tamed. This is also not certain, it has an inconceivable nature.

Therefore, regarding the ancient Secret Mantra, With a mind of doubt, Those who are argumentative and full of conceptualization, Still do not practice the Dharma, Will they not turn back from the path of the lower realms? Regarding the origin of the individual tantras, The Dharmakaya speaks with its own essence, Called the tantra of the meaning to be expressed, In which there are no words or letters. If distinguished, there are two types, Namely, the tantra of means and the tantra of self-nature, But in reality, they are not two. In the "Tantra King Pearl Garland," it says, From the difference of one basic essence, There are the names of the tantra of means and self-nature, Although that is just an imputed appearance, The essence is one basis, the self-nature is emptiness, Not other, without change. For example, for a certain person, If there are many names, No matter from where you call, it will appear that way, The unchanging meaning is also the same. As it is said, that is for all beings, The all-pervading self-aware Bodhicitta, Because it is eternally present, it is shown as the tantra. The Sambhogakaya speaks clearly and distinctly, That is also not from reading, But shown as the self-manifestation of wisdom. The Nirmanakaya skillfully composes words and speaks, Collected as the tantra of words to be expressed. If you say the types, in the Prasangika, It explains seventeen kinds of refined light. Self-arising and self-liberation, Self-born and perfect with skill, Beautifully endowed and finely arranged, Pearl garland and without letters, Mirror of heart and mind, Union of sun and moon, introduction, Burning body relics and piles of jewels, Burning lamp and Longchen accomplished. Thus, the six sons in order, Definitely derived from the Prasangika, Appear to the beings to be tamed. Thus, the three Kayas, The space of the teacher's one essence, As spoken by their respective self-natures, The names of what is to be expressed, the three transmissions of mind, symbol, and ear, arise. In the "Heap of Jewels Tantra" it also says, The Dharmakaya, self-purified of grasping, In the palace of non-elaboration self-purification, In the realm of appearance and existence, inseparable from itself, With the speech of no characteristics, The dharmas of non-elaboration, Non-abiding, self-exhausting, arise from the mind. Without speaking, without speaking, It is shown in the state of great equality. The self-luminous pure Sambhogakaya, From the palace of the five pure lights, With the speech of non-elaboration great bliss, To the retinue of the five Buddha families, Tru
