May it be! The meaning expressed by all categories of Dharma is the stages of the path of the middling person, may I be liberated from samsara! Among these, the scriptures that mainly show the cause of higher rebirth in the future, abandoning non-virtue and accomplishing the path of the ten virtues, and the eight-part vows of purification, etc., are the path of the small person; the holy Dharma that aims only at one's own peace and happiness and seeks the state of liberation, such as the Vinaya Pitaka, etc., is the path of the middling person. Both are the steps of the Mahayana path, so relying on these, generating a special mind of renunciation, and wishing to be liberated from the suffering of samsara, like a prison pit, is also a special entrance for beginners on the path. Fifth, wishing for the path of the great person: May the means to quickly accomplish the state of omniscience, from the two great vehicles of cause and effect, all the secrets spoken as they are, be the stages of the path of the great person. From what I have taken entirely, may all phenomena be like dreamlike appearances, from the mere appearance of that, even on the object itself, there is not even a particle of established entity, but may I surely realize that cause and effect are infallible, and become familiar with the profound key of the two truths! Among these, those who show the accomplishment of the state of omniscience for the sake of others are the cause, the Paramitas, and the result, the great vehicle of the Vajra Secret Mantra. All the secrets of the vast conduct and profound meaning spoken from these two are the stages of the path of the great person. By practicing these, in the meaning of equipoise, all phenomena are like dreamlike appearances, and from the mere appearance, one also realizes that there is not even a particle of truly established entity from the nature of the object itself. However, in the aspect of subsequent attainment, having ascertained that cause and effect are infallible, may I become familiar with the profound path of not grasping the two truths as different entities. Sixth, wishing to study the three pitakas: In the Vinaya Pitaka: The two hundred and fifty precepts to be abandoned, and the seventeen precepts to be adopted, the root of all, the firm foundation, is the superior discipline residing in the Vinaya Pitaka. Among these, in the Vinaya Pitaka of the first turning of the wheel, from novice monk downwards...

Now, even if one has entered the teachings, if it is not yet complete, then there are various differences in what should be taken and what should be abandoned. One who has entered and is complete is a bhikshu, so for a bhikshu, the precepts to be abandoned are the four root downfalls, the thirteen sanghadisesa, the thirty nissaggiya pacittiya, the ninety pacittiya, the four patidesaniya, and the one hundred and twelve dukkatas, totaling two hundred and fifty-three. And with the three karmas as representatives, binding one's own mind with the seventeen precepts of entering what should be taken is like laying the foundation for all virtues, it is the root of the teachings, the sacred Vinaya. Abiding in such conduct, through hearing and thinking about the four noble truths, one should know suffering, abandon its cause, the origin, and through meditation, by relying on the path arising in the continuum, one should realize cessation, which is the result. Abiding in such realization is the training in higher morality. The Sutra Pitaka is: Not shaken by the winds of sinking and excitement, possessing the nature of the four precious realizations, the basis of samadhi abiding on the immortal mountain, placing it in the place of the profound and vast Sutra Pitaka. Therefore, the definitive words of the intermediate turning of the wheel, the three doors of liberation, are the essence of the path. Its nature is the realization of meditation that is not shaken by the winds of sinking and excitement, like the city of immortality stable on the mountain king made of four jewels, the Dharma nature of samadhi is profound because it is difficult to fathom, and vast because it is extensive, abiding in such meaning. Acting in accordance with the six perfections in the post-meditation state is the training in higher concentration. The Abhidhamma Pitaka is: The Abhidhamma with clear distinctions, possessing a thousand eyes, the wisdom that realizes the nature of reality like a palm in the hand, subduing the gods of conditioned existence with the ultimate footprints, in the city of the beautiful Abhidhamma, may the expressive words of the three pitakas and the expressed three trainings become manifest. Therefore, in the later turning of the wheel, the Abhidhamma Pitaka, the distinctions of the three, the completely imputed, the other-powered, and the thoroughly established, are very numerous and clear, therefore it is given the name of a thousand eyes. By this, the way of existence of the reality of the training in higher wisdom is realized, therefore, its wisdom is in the hand of the lord of the senses.
