Although taking killing as an example, it is not the case that all situations cannot be dedicated. However, in most cases it is not said that way, so it is placed in a secondary position. Similarly, with regard to dedication alone, there are also statements that all the accumulations of merit of the three times can be the basis for dedication. In reality, since the field, intention, and object are pure as the basis, the self-tradition acknowledges it as in the previous scripture. In the language of this treasure dharma itself, it says, "Thus, the accumulation of merit from the perfection of the three, field, object, and intention, is the virtue to be dedicated." The Omniscient Dharma King (ཀུན་མཁྱེན་ཆོས་ཀྱི་རྒྱལ་པོ) also said, "When the cause of virtue precedes, and words and aspirations are combined, it is dedication; when aspiration is made without the cause of virtue preceding, it is aspiration." So it is said. Second, there are four: the root of virtue to be dedicated, the field of dedication, the master of dedication, and the manner of dedication. First, there are two: what can be dedicated and what cannot be dedicated. First, the dedication of this treasure itself, in the Wish-Fulfilling Jewel, says, "With pure objects and a pure mind, generate faith in the upper ones, compassion for the lower ones, and commonly arouse the mind of enlightenment." Therefore, it is said that pure objects are those that are not defiled by the faults that will be discussed below, and a pure mind is one that is not defiled by the stains of deceit and fame. Second, the sutra says, "Stolen and robbed objects, objects that do not harm others, objects that are extremely precious and pleasing, if they are useful, then offer and give." It also says, "Objects of evil and poison, etc., and weapons, etc., that are not mixed, with four kinds of giving and, various favorable conditions, protect the poor and incapable." In short, forcibly taking and stealing from the hands of others, killing sentient beings or drawing blood in the name of doing good, and objects of wrong livelihood, etc., are said to be unsuitable for dedication. Second, there are three fields of dedication: the way it is explained in the sutras, the way it is explained in the mantras, and the way it is explained in common. First, from the Ornament of the Sutras, "Because all dharmas are treasures, it is the door of various manifestations, it is called the activity of the Sangha, therefore all should give to the Sangha." So it is said, the three
