The root of the vows is the three, body, speech, and mind. The branch vows are twenty-five, and the common vows are the twenty-one that summarize the meaning of the hundred thousand sections of Samaya, and so on. Acharya Bhavyalaha was the second ornament that beautified this world. Arya Deva destroyed the pride of the heretics, brought them into the Buddhist tenets, and supported them. He is the protector of the teachings who composed countless treatises such as the thirty-fourth chapter of the Jataka. All that is stained by the violations of the fourteen root vows is what needs to be purified. Secondly, one should not focus on anything other than this special yoga of Vajrasattva. As it says in the Secret General Tantra: The sole body of all Buddhas. Focus on Vajrasattva. Recite the hundred-syllable mantra according to the ritual. Each day, six times a day. Recite twenty-one times each. By that, the downfalls and so on are blessed. And will never increase. When one hundred thousand are recited. By the excellent explanation of the supreme accomplishment. One becomes the nature of complete purity. It is said. The essence of the meaning is that the clarity of the nature of awareness, which does not focus on anything, is the Vajra. Its nature is that it does not truly exist as it appears, therefore it is the Sattva. Its nature is to practice in the great state beyond mind, where clarity and emptiness or appearance and emptiness are inseparable and free from extremes, is the method of purification that is inseparable from samsara and nirvana. The second has three: the superior faculties confess with view, the intermediate faculties confess with meditation, and the inferior faculties confess with the practice of regretful confession and lamenting mantras. The first has two: explaining the state of view and abandoning the disputes of terminology. The first is that for those individuals with superior faculties, who have severed the doubts about the meaning of reality, and who have attained great stability, all the obscurations to be confessed, the confessor, and the place of confession, all three circles do not go beyond complete purity, and also in the Dzogchen self-tradition, when establishing the wisdom of Kadag (primordial purity) by means of transcendence, the expanse is Kadag, the wisdom is Kadag, the faultless is Kadag, the basis of liberation is Kadag, the place of liberation is Kadag, there are countless distinctions. Of these, the first two are harmed by the tenets of spontaneous accomplishment, and the latter two are the intention of the instructions. The essence of what is to be expressed here is that the intermediate Kadag

In short, if someone believes that the so-called 'primordial purity' or 'immaculate' state is not possessed without abandoning the ignorance that is the basis and result, then, to summarize the whole point: the mind is not cultivated outwardly, awareness is not bound inwardly, it transcends the two extremes of bondage and liberation, it is not deceived by the rope of trust, it is primordially self-naturally pure, hence 'primordially pure'; there is not even a hair's tip worth of things to do in the mind, hence 'without action'; it is free from the thought of cultivation and attachment, hence 'without thought'; the original nature exists within oneself, hence 'uncontrived and natural'; it is not tightened inwardly, hence 'free'; it is not cultivated outwardly, hence 'letting go'. Bondage and liberation are pure from the very beginning, and in this state, all the subtle and gross phenomena that arise are naturally liberated, and remaining nakedly in this state is the meaning of the space of confession of view. As the great master of Oddiyana said: 'Hearing, thinking, striving, and meditating, not meditating, not thinking, without action, etc., whatever is done is an artificial path, confessing it in the space of the unconditioned Dharmakaya. One cannot attain Buddhahood through artificial Dharma, one binds oneself through the Dharma of thought, whatever one clings to obscures reality, confessing it in the space of the non-clinging Dharmakaya.' Secondly, some people slander that the words used to express the view of Dzogchen in the scriptures are the same as the views of the Heshang and Bonpo, but this is a statement that nakedly exposes one's own shortcomings in front of those who have attained the meaning of the expressed—the tantra of wisdom intent. That is to say, although everyone agrees that the views of the Heshang are not acceptable, before understanding that it is the same as the view of Mahasandhi, one should first refute the tenets of the Heshang through critical wisdom. Since their tenets are hidden as treasures, it is also a boastful statement. If one follows Acharya Kamalashila's refutation of the Heshang's views, then what the refuter himself approves of is also the Svatantrika Madhyamaka. Among the two who established the tradition of chariots, the main ornaments of the beautiful adornment of Jambudvipa (the Earth) are the son of the Brahmin with the topknot, the noble Nagarjuna, and the son of the Brahmin woman Suprakasha Shila, the noble Asanga, who was born from the union of the royal family and the Sangha, thinking of the Buddha's teachings. Those who follow the lineage of profound view follow the commentaries of Buddhapalita and others, belonging to the Prasangika Madhyamaka.
