Extend the ring finger and little finger, with the two thumbs raised upright like ears, or alternatively, as before, extending the two little fingers is also acceptable, one should examine which method is suitable. Turamga, Ashva, Ratna, etc. Seventh, offering the precious general, with ordinary conceptualizations, completely severing the enemy that opposes wisdom. Victorious from the battlefield of self-grasping afflictions, without fear or hesitation in anything, with the conduct of being victorious in all directions, like a tigress roaming the mountain valleys, with the aspiration to benefit beings impartially. Finally, the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, and the precious general, etc., and the wise ones. Holding a shield in the left hand and wielding a sword in the right hand is considered the hand gesture of the general. Recite Khadga Ratna, etc. According to another tradition, as the householder jewel appears, the two palms are held together in a cupped manner, which is known as the hand gesture of the space treasury, and it is said to be placed on the forehead. Thus, the sequence of hand gestures can also be arranged in a single group, appearing in various forms corresponding to each individual's wisdom. These types of hand gestures are undeniably established in both the old and new traditions. Since there are only slight differences in the postures according to each individual's view, and there are no major contradictions, those who rely on unreliable fabrications and claim to speak from their own tradition and heart are merely uttering self-satisfied words. Some, because Dzogchen transcends activity, say that they do not rely on the bonds of hand gestures, but even if they cover it up with the intoxicating words of not understanding the key point and the blood of the Asuras, when it comes to extreme simplicity, they do not rely on these, but rather send forth nine activities from the vehicle of simplicity. Because mantras and hand gestures are not explained, these elaborate practices of Mahayoga become unnecessary, and therefore the recitation words mentioned in the scriptures should not be recited. Fourth is the offering of the Eight Auspicious Symbols, just as Brahma and others offered the eight auspicious symbols to the Buddhas of the past, in order to accumulate merit for oneself and others. In particular, taking the mandala of the image as the object of contemplation, for the wheel of wisdom that manifests all phenomena of existence, whether it is actually made of the image or emanated from the radiance of wisdom.

Above is a white umbrella with a golden handle, fluttering and adorned with a precious sapphire crest; before the eyes are soft and slender golden fish with jade wings; on the tongue is a water-born lotus with a thousand petals, swaying and fragrant; between the teeth is a right-spiraling auspicious conch shell of Dharma, held by Bodhisattvas who remain in the world for the benefit of beings; around the neck is a vase of immortal nectar, adorned with a wish-fulfilling tree; in the heart is a precious and auspicious knot, the source of wish-fulfilling jewels; on the body is an imperishable banner of Dharma, beyond price; at the feet are wheels that sever the net of existence and the nature of afflictions. Through this power, may I and all beings enjoy the glory of the auspicious ocean. With such songs, I offer the beautiful jeweled umbrella with a golden handle, and so on. Fifth, offering the clouds of Samantabhadra's offerings: In order to train wisdom and accumulate the two accumulations, emanate from oneself sixteen Vajra goddesses, each holding their own offerings, unimaginably numerous, filling the sky. Among them, Vajra Lasya is extremely beautiful in form, with graceful dance steps; Vajra Mala holds a garland strung with precious jewels in an elegant posture; Vajra Gita is proficient in seven extremely captivating melodies, each with six variations: change, bend, raise, lower, thick, and thin, singing songs.
