In summary, no matter how much elaboration is made, if summarized by the entire sutra, it will not go beyond the two, awareness and unawareness. As it is said in the Kunjang Monlam (普贤行愿品): "All phenomena of appearance, existence, samsara, and nirvana, are all based on one ground, two paths, and two fruits; awareness and unawareness are the manifestations." The "one ground" refers to the primordial base, the time when neither samsara nor nirvana is indicated. The two paths are liberation and delusion. The former is when wisdom arises as life, with wind as the horse, and when the appearance of cutting arises, because one knows that self-appearance has no self-nature, therefore Samantabhadra considers the virtuous roots of mundane contamination as mere dust. This is just a general way of speaking. However, the unique view of Omniscient Longchenpa considers self-nature awareness as uncontaminated, self-arisen virtuous roots, like an ocean, which is his unique way of speaking. Buddhahood is attained without effort, as it is said in the Thalgyur (决择根本慧论): "Thus, from the beginning and end of samsara and nirvana, because one has not been deluded into becoming a Buddha, from the base, the noble one knows with wisdom that self-appearance has no self-nature, conceptual thoughts do not scatter outwards, and movement is self-liberated." This has been explained. The latter is that sentient beings of the three realms fall into samsara without committing even a hair's breadth of sin, which is because they are deluded by not knowing that self-appearance has no self-nature. In this regard, after distinguishing the difference between the base and the base-wisdom, three ways of delusion are explained, but they do not go beyond the root of the twelve links of interdependence—ignorance. The ways of delusion in three aspects are, as it is said in the Thalgyur (决择根本慧论): "The cause of delusion is ignorance, ignorance has three aspects, delusion arises from one self-nature, co-emergent thoughts are of two kinds, and become objects through complete imputation." Therefore, with the nature of ignorance as the cause, the awareness of the base transcends conceptual thought, and the unindicated awareness abides in the subtle of the subtle. This is called the ignorance of the cause, one self-nature. As it is said in the Thalgyur (决择根本慧论): "One cause, inseparable, is the root, because one does not know it as self-nature, this is also the beginning of samsara." Furthermore, from the movement of awareness starting from the base, the wind slightly stirs, with the ignorance of self-nature as the condition, the wind of propelling karma manifests as color, appearing as an aura. This is called co-emergent ignorance, and from the aspect of dualistic grasping, awareness is deluded, becoming the object and the subject.

It is also like that. In the ultimate truth, it says: From that which is co-emergent, in conventional truth, the appearance is established, the realm of the two truths, etc., has been explained. Through the power of great compassion, by the conceptual thought that examines the appearance of wisdom, the grasping of self and other as two is called the ignorance of complete imputation. In the ultimate truth, it says: That is the difference in the part of the appearance of the object, complete imputation is a part of the four conditions. Thus it is said. In the original nature of the ground, there is no situation where it is determined by name and object of expression. In the "String of Pearls" it says: In the original primordial purity, it cannot be said to be merely mistaken. Likewise, what is not mistaken? Therefore, mistake is pure from the beginning. Omniscient Longchenpa said: That is also because there has never been ignorance in the essence, so it is not established as mere awareness. Transcending the terms of awareness and non-awareness, so it is not established as merely mistaken and not mistaken. Some say: Then, at the time of primordial purity, the state of liberation, it is said that the essence is Dharmakaya, the nature is light, and compassion is wisdom. If it is thought that in the ultimate truth, the Buddha does not have wisdom, and that he does have wisdom, how can this contradiction be resolved? In the state of Buddhahood, because there is no self-existing wisdom established on the basis of what is to be known and what knows, it is taught that there is no path, no wisdom, no dharma, etc. According to the latter, the Buddha is the very essence of non-dual wisdom. As it says in the "Praise of Names": The Tathagata is the embodiment of wisdom. Therefore, all the dharmas of the Buddha never transcend great wisdom, so these two can be well distinguished and accepted. Similarly, in the ultimate truth, the Buddha cannot be attained, and entering the path with the hope of attaining it are not contradictory. As the former says, it refers to the fact that there is not a single particle apart from the wisdom of self-awareness. The latter refers to the fact that it can be made manifest. Although on the collection of essence, nature, and compassion, the explanations of Dharmakaya, speech, and mind are placed on that very original state, it is a very serious mistake to think that there are forms of face and limbs, and rays of light, etc. In "Self-Arisen Awareness" it says: In the Dharmakaya, the great purity, because there is no object to be grasped, it is not designated as having characteristics. If there were characteristics,
