While slowly smearing, before the hand is lifted, use the little finger to circle the edge of the mandala, and in the center recite "Hūṃ" (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: 吽), and place the flower between the thumb and forefinger of the right hand in the center, visualizing that this dispels obstacles. Alternatively, according to the saying "From Hūṃ" (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: 吽), it is evident that this is the seed for generating Mount Sumeru, and which of the two methods is more appropriate needs to be examined. Again, on the same spot, Place a larger heap, and at the same time recite "King of Mountains, Mount Sumeru," and contemplate it accordingly. Starting from the front, place them sequentially in a clockwise direction, reciting "Eastern Videha," placing it in the east, and visualizing the shape of the continent as a crescent moon, with the nature of crystal. Recite "Southern Jambudvipa," placing it in the south, and visualizing the shape of the continent as a cart yoke, with the nature of lapis lazuli. Recite "Western Godaniya," placing it in the west, and visualizing the shape of the continent as round, with the nature of ruby. Recite "Northern Kuru," placing it in the north, and visualizing the shape of the continent as square, with the nature of gold. All these continents, when placing the mandala heap, take Mount Sumeru as the rear, and it is understood that they each face south, so it is necessary to place the heaps of subcontinents. Such as "Southwest Camara subcontinent, land of Rakshasas," and it does not contradict the fact that the immaculate teachings of the Buddhas speak of the ten direction protectors residing there. However, if, as shown on the inner side of the continents, the heaps of subcontinents are placed on the left and right sides, then the directions are very confused, and reason cannot establish it. In such a way, in the east, recite "Body" and "Superior Body," that is, on the right side of the east is Body, and on the left side is Superior Body. Similarly, in sequence, in connection with the recitation, on the right side of the south is Camara, and on the left side is another Camara. It is said that the Laṅkāvatāra Sūtra was taught on this continent. On the right side of the west is Wealthy, and on the left side is Excellent Path. On the right side of the north is Kuru, and on the left side are the companions of Kuru, all with the same shape as their respective central continents. The descriptions of the area sizes of the continents in these respective directions, and the modeling layout included within this, such as a painter drawing a geographical prophecy map, it is not stated whether it is necessary to have these. The dimensions only show the entire area of those continents, and such a sign is the center of one's own continent.

The detailed distinction of when it exists is explained in the Don gyi bzhin ston. In the Eastern Continent, regarding the Treasure Store and many Tibetan scholars, as well as the omniscient Dharma Lord of our own tradition, most only acknowledge twenty-three combinations. However, now it is widely known that on top of the previous ones, adding the four such as the Jewel Mountain, the eight such as Beauty, and adding the Umbrella and Victory Banner, it becomes thirty-seven, which is said to be the tradition of Drogön Chögyal Phakpa, so it is arranged accordingly. The Jewel Mountain has the nature of various jewels, and its width and height are immeasurable. In the Southern Continent, the Wish-Fulfilling Tree has the nature of seven kinds of jewels, with roots, stems, branches, leaves, flowers, fruits, etc., all filled with the qualities of fulfilling desires. In the Western Continent, the Wish-Granting Cow is red and yellow, with a beautiful form and pleasing to the eye, possessing its own qualities. In the Northern Continent, the uncultivated crops have abundant taste and nutrition. In front of the Jewel Mountain, the Jewel Wheel made of refined gold from the Zambu River has a thousand spokes and steals the glory of the sun. In front of the Wish-Fulfilling Tree, the eight-sided Jewel Beryl Jewel steals the opportunity of darkness in the entire environment within a hundred yojanas with its rays. When afflicted by heat, it has the power of coolness; when afflicted by cold, it has the power of warmth. Wherever it is located, it can eliminate all misfortunes and declines of all beings in that area and has the nature of fulfilling all wishes. In front of the Wish-Granting Cow, the Jewel Queen is free from the five faults of women, possesses eight qualities, and is extremely captivating. Just by touching, she can effortlessly manifest the wisdom of bliss and emptiness, like the Brahman girl whose appearance is like the sun. In front of the uncultivated crops, the Jewel Minister is handsome and powerful, skilled and capable of judging everything, close to the lord of the land, naturally stable, and as good as a captain. In the southeast direction between the body and the other elephant's trunk, the Jewel Elephant is ash-gray in color, has six tusks, a red crown, and a high stature, covered with a jewel net, possessing the strength of a thousand ordinary elephants, and is the support of the snowy land.
