Adorned with the 'ga gdong' (a type of ritual object) and washing utensils, dressed in beautiful and pleasing clothes, holding any of the deities' hand implements, offering prostrations accompanied by dance, song, and chanting, this is a prostration that generates joy for all. The third is, according to the ritual text: 'Like a secret, brothers and sisters, in the presence of the guru, deities, and mandala assembly, baring their bodies, accompanied by wails and mantras, striking their bodies in remorse, offering solitary prostrations.' This refers to contemplating the future when one has committed an action with no interval, or when a great downfall has occurred.

Although clear explanations can greatly aid understanding, if one follows the method of combining peaceful and wrathful deities in the body mandala, based on the dissolution of all distinctions between self and front deities, and understands that the hundred deities of prostration mentioned here are also deities of conceptual aggregation, then there will be no mistake of not recognizing them. Therefore, it is necessary to examine this carefully. Some say that the main deity of the mandala is the great scholar Padmavajra, but then they doubt that the guru himself resides in the southern petal. Such situations have occurred in the past. Regarding this, the vidyadhara Tselepa said: "No matter how many or few deities are shown in the mandala of secret mantra, in reality, they are only manifestations of the main deity. They are not like ordinary people with superiors and subordinates, gathering and assembling with different levels of power. Etc., and after that, in temporary appearances, not only does the guru himself reside on the eastern petal of the divine direction, but all eight names of the other seven petals are also the guru himself. There are many new ones like this. The speaker is also me, and the dharma is also me." This means that the six deities of the Chakrasamvara six-transformation mandala are all Chakrasamvara, and all fifteen Nairatmya goddesses are the single Nairatmya mother. Furthermore, all the deities of the body mandala, speech mandala, and mind mandala of Kalachakra, etc., are manifestations of the body, speech, and mind of the primordial Buddha. Just as in this example, all types of mandalas are the same. Although it is said like this, those are just self-utterances with no understanding of the key secrets of the generation and completion stages. Why? Because no mandala views the main deity and retinue as different. How could the main deity itself be such a self-nature? In the root tantra of the Eight Commands of Great Achievement, it says: In short, body color, hand gestures, etc., faces and hands, many or few, are inconceivable. Wisdom deities have no self-nature and cannot be fixedly calculated. To accord with the inclinations of those to be tamed, the self-power of the dharmakaya can appear in any form. It is like this. Some say: Then, isn't it contradicted by the scriptures that say one sees the face of the deity and hears the voice of the deity? No, it is because the power of habituation increases after stability is attained in the generation stage.
