As it is said, "Above the Karani is Hrīḥ, and the mantra garland revolves at the end of red," like that, in the heart of the self-generation deity, above the sun disc is Hrīḥ. At the end of the red letter, starting from the front and arranging to the left, it needs to rotate to the right when reciting. Secondly, it explains how to arrange the mantra wheel of the front generation. In the case of great practice, it is said that the sun, moon, five-pointed vajra, Amitābha, etc., which are explained below, must be clear in the hearts of all the main deities and retinues. In the case of confession and completion, even if it is not possible to do so completely, one should visualize the root Heruka Hayagriva yab-yum, and the heart of the main deity Padmavajra, who resides on the top of his head, inside a tent-covered house, on the seat of the sun and moon. A white five-pointed vajra stands upright, and in the center of its hollow, in the center of a red eight-petaled lotus, visualize the Bhagavan Amitābha, whose body color is red and bright, very clear, without ornaments, naked in the lotus posture, making the meditation mudra, and above it, visualize a vase radiating five kinds of light, formed from the compassion rays of all the Sugatas of the three times. Inside the vase, visualize the stacked letters of Oṃ Āḥ Hūṃ, and in the heart of Amitābha, the red and bright letter Hrīḥ, radiating various colors of light. Starting from the front of Amitābha, rotating to the left, Oṃ Āḥ Hūṃ Vajra Guru Deva Ḍākkinī Sarva Siddhi Phala Hūṃ Āḥ, arrange the condensed essence letters of the Intentions Gathering in a standing manner, closely entwined, and when reciting, visualize it rotating to the right. If it is related to great practice and other elaborate practices, then the detailed root mantra must be recited as explained in the Abhisamayalankara and from the perspective of the great master. The method of arranging the mantra wheel is the same as before, except that the beginning of the mantra, which starts writing from the front, is inside, and the end of the mantra is outside, visualize it as if it is coiled in about three layers in a straight line. The detailed content of this root mantra is that there is Oṃ at the beginning and Svāhā at the end, so in common language it is also called the snake mantra. However, once the form of the snake mantra is complete, there is no need to arrange the mantra wheel in two or three layers.

Although there are, for long mantras, it is necessary to proceed in such a way that one mandala is not sufficient, which is established by both scripture and reason. In general, the example of secret mantras being like a coiled snake refers to the fact that creatures that move on their bellies lie coiled with their heads in the center and their tails outward. Similarly, the life mantras of the main deities of the cardinal directions should be placed in their respective hearts as before, and in more detail, as explained in the illusion wheel of focused recitation All of them, at all times, should be visualized clearly as emitting the sound diri ri (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,diri ri,sound) and blazing with light filling the sky. Some say that, in general, the method of placing the mantra wheel is like that, but during the time of confession and fulfillment, the hundred families of peaceful and wrathful deities are generated in the heart of Padma Vajra Power, so there is no place for the wisdom being to reside. That is not the case, because in general, the wisdom of considering the space of width and narrowness does not apply to the self-manifested deity of wisdom, because it is the self-expression of the mind, so it can contain anything and do anything. In particular, in this case, the wisdom being is meditated upon inside the dark blue tent of the heart, and the peaceful and wrathful deities are generated in the space between the chest and the heart, merely as the radiance of wisdom. Now, most practitioners do not understand this principle very well, so to explain in detail, as it says in the Mirror Clarifying the Meaning of the Guhyagarbha Tantra: Furthermore, are the wisdom being and the deity of the heart the same or different? The places are different. The wisdom being is the same as the root deity, and the same in general, but without ornaments and attire, the hand gestures are similar but do not hold. The deity of the heart, whoever the root deity is, the deity of the heart is Vajrakila, blue in color, holding a vajra and marked with the syllable Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,seed syllable). As it is said, all places of visualization are the same as this, and the postures and attire are according to their respective traditions, and there is no need to refer to this. Some others say that the explanation of the deity of the heart is like that, but that principle does not apply to the peaceful and wrathful deities. It applies very much, because all the peaceful and wrathful deities arise from the play of the minds of the Buddhas, and there is no independently established self for the deity of the heart.
