Due to its excellent craftsmanship, the bell's proportions are also very perfect. Among them, the upper part of the vajra represents the formless realm, the marks of the eight goddesses drawn on the outside of the bell represent the form realm, and the inner part of the handle together with the sky below represents the desire realm, which is considered to be the nature of the three realms. Regarding the size of the bell's mouth, the book says, "The inner mouth of the bell should be equal to the field and the bird's beak." Therefore, the height of the bell, whether long or short, the width of the bell's mouth should be equal to the height of the bell. Third, there are three types of bells: the wisdom bell of Vajrasattva, the hero bell, and the bells of the Tathagatas of each family. The first is the bell of all family lords, and its top has five and nine prongs. The bell's handle is six fingers long. The five and nine prongs have lotus hearts at the top. The shape is beautiful, and the inside is hollow and six fingers long. There are eight lotus petals on the top, decorated with vajra, jewels, lotus, and crossed vajra. Seven layers of jewel zala nets, surrounded by vajra horns. Proclaiming the sound of the Dharma, raining down nectar, it is considered to be a follower of the wisdom realm (Sanskrit: dharmadhātu). Although the distinctions of each family are not detailed, if it can be identified, it is the lord of all families. It is said that both are possible. Regarding the method of drawing seed syllables on the upper lotus, the Samputa says, "The seed syllables of the eight letters are arranged in eight directions. In the east is the goddess Tara, in the north is White-robed Avalokiteśvara, in the west is Mamaki, and in the south is Buddhalocana." Similarly, regarding the four corners, the book says, "Golden, honey-like radiant, and the four Vajra chains." It is said that the mesh structure on the side of the bell should be aligned directly below the lotus petals above. In addition, between the lotus petals and the hanging mesh structure, there are two pearl necklace-like belts, with a vajra chain in between. From then on, in the eight hanging mesh structures just described, the east is the wheel, the south is the jewel, the west is the lotus, the north is the sword, the southeast is the eye, the southwest is the vajra, the northwest is the lotus, and the northeast is utpala (梵文:utpala, utpala,汉语字面意思:青莲花), these eight symbols, and the upper vajra, have a pedestal above the three-layered belt.

and the nectar vase located in the four directions. This differs from the way most previous bells distinguished between five-pointed and nine-pointed ones, as the five-pointed bells have no holes, while the nine-pointed ones all have holes, so these holes must have some meaning. Some say that this was done for the purpose of allowing previous yogis to insert their fingers, but nothing has been said about it anywhere. Although this phenomenon also appears on old Han bells, it is necessary to investigate whether it was also arranged by yogis in those places. In the "Examination Treatise," the bells are described as having three different types: Han, Mongolian, and Tibetan, and although they also exist in India, they have not reached Tibet, so there is a lack of basis for examination. Therefore, it would be better if the bells in that place could also be examined. Therefore, whether it is a hole or a vase, there must be (decoration) above it that is equal in size to the vase of the face of the Wisdom Goddess. The tantras say that this face must face east. Therefore, the pure combination of seed syllables and various deities is: starting from the east, in order, Tara's ཏཱཾ། (Tibetan, Devanagari tam, Romanized Sanskrit tam, literal Chinese meaning: Dang), White-clad Mother's པཱཾ། (Tibetan, Devanagari pam, Romanized Sanskrit pam, literal Chinese meaning: Bang), Mamaki's མཱཾ། (Tibetan, Devanagari mam, Romanized Sanskrit mam, literal Chinese meaning: Mang), Eye Mother's ལཱཾ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari lam, Romanized Sanskrit lam, literal Chinese meaning: Lang), these four directions; the four corners are Vasudhara's བཾ། (Tibetan, Devanagari vam, Romanized Sanskrit vam, literal Chinese meaning: Wang), Cunda's ཙཱཾ། (Tibetan, Devanagari cam, Romanized Sanskrit cam, literal Chinese meaning: Cang), Wrathful Mother's བྷྲཱིཾ། (Tibetan, Devanagari bhram, Romanized Sanskrit bhram, literal Chinese meaning: Bhram), Rosary Mother's མཱཾ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari mam, Romanized Sanskrit mam, literal Chinese meaning: Mang). Therefore, even when applying perfume to the bell, the face of the Wisdom Goddess must be directed towards the seed syllable ཏཱཾ། (Tibetan, Devanagari tam, Romanized Sanskrit tam, literal Chinese meaning: Dang), because the "Dharani Sutra" says: "Make the face of wisdom face east." Above it, place a half-vajra that corresponds to its respective method part. The second type, the Hero's Bell, is: the lotus of the seed syllables of the eight goddesses, etc., and without nets and half-nets, the others are the same as before, except that it must have a vajra belt. Mangnyer: Therefore, it is the Hero's Bell, with a belt of vajra rosaries. It also has the wisdom and nectar vase. All characteristics are fully possessed. The nets and half-nets must be removed. The height is nine fingers, and the opening is five fingers in size. Do not exceed this size. Five-pointed or nine-pointed. The size of the bell is smaller than before. The idea that this is a "Bell of Sorrow" is clearly nonsense. The third type, the Tathagata Bell, is: determined according to the respective families. In the Vajra Dakini Tantra, it says: Then there is the Tathagata's.
