Ah! From worldly meditation, this awareness has not been truly seen. Even at such times, solely by one's own mind, knowing self-liberation from the transformation of objects, there is no higher state to realize beyond this, because it is inherently inconceivable. This is when the obscuration of knowable objects appears as the greatest. It is only realized after encountering the all-knowing one. When the eight realizations of being free from the reality of what is to be meditated on and the meditator arise, hope and fear naturally vanish. Knowing the suchness of all phenomena, practicing without acceptance or rejection, even when faced with slander and respect, there is no fear, and only the thought of benefiting others arises in the mind. At that time, including you all, disciples seeking the Dharma, also gathered from all three regions of U-Tsang and Kham, with the sole intention of benefiting all beings. This comfortable and relaxed yogi, even if I die now, I have no regrets. Therefore, you faithful ones, strive to have your sons inherit the father's work! This was written by Rigdzin Jigme Lingpa for Wang Jigme Kundrol and Rinchen Dorje Dengkhar, heart-sons of the southern Bhutan region, at their request for instructions. The so-called Tathagatagarbha is the view of being unmade and free from elaboration. It is said that when it mixes with the habitual tendencies of mind and mental factors, and with sudden thoughts, it becomes sentient beings, and this is called wandering in samsara. Its true nature is pointed out by the guru. Receiving empowerment and blessing the lineage is like uncovering a veil. Having recognized one's own mind, it needs to be guarded with mindfulness, therefore, if one can remember the guru and one's own mind as inseparable in the heart, this is called transforming devotion into the path. When devotion is clear and distinct, there is no need to seek another empty and clear state. For those who have devotion and diligence, the remembrance of the guru's instructions and teachings will also naturally arise. If this happens, first, through faith in the empowerment, blessings will enter, and it will become the cause of purifying obscurations. Even in the darkest moments, such as death or the bardo, one can remember the guru, and then, the so-called nourishing one's mind with faith will truly be realized. At that time, compassion will involuntarily arise for those who do not understand the nature of other sentient beings, and for those who do not rely on holy beings, because they cannot be liberated from the cause and effect of suffering. In this way, one can quickly and completely accumulate vast amounts of merit.

From the ground arises the nature of the fruit, from a state beyond thought, a state arises where it is not known whether there is memory or not. By dwelling in that state, the qualities of the stages and paths become mere words, and the guru's realization is transferred to the disciple, and the realization of no object of meditation and no meditator naturally abides in the nature, this is called the merging of minds. This is heart advice! It is the teaching that dispels the darkness of the heart. The activities of all the Buddhas of the three times, concentrated in Rigdzin Padmakara (པདྨ་ཀཱ་ར།, Padma kāra, Lotus-born activity). The area of Nak (གནགས་) land where hopes are placed, I pray to you with reverence. Please look with compassion upon your followers and disciples. May the distorted concepts of the one with the name of Jewel, who has prudence and faith, be completely shattered, and with a strong desire of compassion and respect, please listen to the sincere words of this ascetic. In the beginningless and endless ocean of samsara, the transformer is the self-grasping of ignorance. Grasping a non-self as self, the mind is led astray by external objects, therefore bearing the karmic body, suffering torment. The actions of this life are like dreams and illusions, extremely impermanent, like dew on the tip of grass and lightning, and like bubbles of water, yet clinging to the unreal, cherishing it, karma, afflictions, sins, and obscurations are all pressing down on the shoulders. The white and youthful life is fleeting, unknowingly being exhausted, no one knows when the Lord of Death, Yama, will come, look at the dead bodies in the cemetery! All that is done by living a little longer is creating the cause of suffering for falling into the lower realms of samsara. Enemies and friends are all impermanent, like the rainbow in the sky. Evil deeds and all kinds of disputes flourish, and the prophecies of the degenerate age are being fulfilled. In any case, stop unnecessary deaths and so on! The evil times are increasing year by year, people's behavior is changing month by month, the Lord of Death is approaching day by day, and there should be no attachment to this samsara. Even if fathers try to support, they cannot eliminate the sins and downfalls accumulated over eons. Even if relatives and friends are full of love for their children, they cannot guide them to the path of liberation, they are the stones of the abyss of samsara. Knowing these things, the son of Suddhodana (Shakyamuni Buddha) abandoned the kingdom of the Chakravartin, and fled to the solitary forest to pursue the Dharma. Not remembering death, one's own mind is stubborn and unyielding, the virtuous roots of compounded phenomena are dazzling, even if done, they only increase the cause of pride and samsara, and have not become the antidote to the five poisons. Now, when alive, there is no Dharma, but after death, funeral rites and empowerments are performed for the corpse, which seems helpful.
