Pages 601 to 700. Pages 601 to 700. It is said: A religious system that almost completely disregards practices such as giving, and does not connect view and conduct, existed in the past but has now been refuted. Ascetics who hold conduct as supreme denigrate the profound path of emptiness. If you wish to attain the union of two bodies at the time of fruition, then experience the union of view and conduct at the time of cause. The conceptualization of permanence that clings to emptiness, and the view of non-clinging that abandons clarity, although many hold them as supreme, ultimately fall into the abyss of views. Those who speak bombastically about the view of non-elaboration, devoid of trust arising from scripture, reason, and experience, proclaim the view of non-elaboration that sees all phenomena of cause and effect as empty, and also speak of the beauty of the other shore. If you wish to be liberated by viewing whatever arises as mind, then the entire world of container and contents is of the nature of permanence, self, and oneness, without distinguishing between desire itself and the difference in mental appearances. How can such non-Buddhists not be liberated? Viewing as illusion also exists in non-Buddhist systems. The transformation that becomes the path of seeing is an illusory thing. All transformations dissolve into the state of the principal, therefore, it is called liberation in the Samkhya system. Non-elaboration is not a unique characteristic of this school alone. All phenomena are originally self-nature pure, and free from all elaborations of what is to be purified, what is to be abandoned. In the realm of view, the Brahma school also asserts this. The view of non-extremes is also asserted by both internal and external schools. As a common example in the Vedas for proving non-extremes, the Vedic school also speaks of similar establishments, such as clinging to a city of gandharvas in a dream. Emptiness, freedom from all elaborations, and non-dual bliss are said to be the supreme profound path, and even if some with little learning hold them as supreme, the Ishvara school also clearly acknowledges all of these. The practice of a view that does not establish self-nature, is non-clinging, non-conceptual, and in which nothing is established, clear and unobstructed, also exists in Zhangzhung Bon. How can liberation occur through mistaken key points of the path? Those who proclaim that the view of selflessness is the system of Prasangika and Svatantrika are devoid of hearing. This is not a unique characteristic of the Mahayana alone. In the treatises of the Realists, the non-inherent existence of Svatantrika is explained. Whatever arises is one's own mind, which is common to Sutra and Mind. The system of Vijnanavada and Madhyamaka is the cessation of grasping and the grasped. The establishment of the view that prevents the non-dual wisdom from being truly established.

It is considered the Great Madhyamaka. By observing impermanence of compounded things, aggregates, etc., as selfless, one cannot abandon the view of perishable aggregates. Because the manner of clinging is contradictory, it can destroy ignorance. Among these, the view of emptiness is the best. In the oral tradition, there are also many methods of searching for self and consciousness, etc., internally and externally. The method of searching for the mind that is currently popular in Tibet is seen as a distraction that disturbs meditation. Whatever arises, regarding the mind and mind-essence as one's own body, searching everywhere internally and externally, but even searching cannot find it. Even if one wants to temporarily regard the wisdom that has an object, etc., as a view, then that pristine awareness that is free from all elaborations of grasping and being grasped, the innate wisdom that recognizes its own face, that clear and lucid, non-conceptual wisdom, is the main point of the teachings of all practice lineages. Although it is called that in the post-meditation state, in the state of equipoise, it is the expanse of the sky, free from all extremes, the way in which the object of observation, the action, and the agent, as well as speech and conceptual thought, are integrated. As it is said in the scriptures, "In the ultimate sense, like water and waves." Here, the discriminating wisdom of self-luminous nature is not something that is not attended to, nor is it abandoned like the five states of mindlessness without memory. For the commitment of not abandoning, with the clinging of savoring the taste, it is given the beautiful name of discriminating wisdom, but in reality, it is the obscuration of knowledge purified by the power of meditation, not like the ignorant who are accustomed to not attending and not remembering, but rather the view of the inexpressible Great Madhyamaka, where all phenomena are not established by their own characteristics and common characteristics, which is in accordance with the scriptures and reasoning, is actually the practice of the Great Perfection oral tradition, cultivated by being free from attention. As the noble Nagarjuna said, "The mind is of all the Buddhas, unseen, not seen, and will not be seen. On the nature of no self-nature, how can one see and transform?" Atisha also said, "The wisdom of the Bhagavan does not see anything. Why is that? Because wisdom has no object." And so on, it is the commitment of the simultaneous entry of tenets. This is also the advice of Rangjung Dorje Khyentse Özer, who holds the view of the Great Perfection of self-nature in the snowy mountains, at the end of five hundred questions and answers, urged and asked by the four monks of Dokhampa Gewa Chopachen.
