The essence is: The nature of mind, which cannot be identified, has not become like inanimate emptiness. Because of being accustomed to the state of inner clarity, primordial purity, and the absence of limits and impurities, the appearances of the three bodies that are inherently present in the expanse manifest from the purified wind element as the luminous path. This is introduced and adorned. From the emptiness that was never there, phenomena are self-exhausted, called luminosity. From the emptiness free from action, the luminosity representing the three bodies is found. So it is said. Moreover, the bindu of emptiness and form, like the brilliance filling the eye socket, due to the way of looking, the five lights are clear in the sensory manifestation, round, self-luminous, the color is clear, unique, representing the meaning of being free from elaboration. From that itself, it is said: The lamp of the empty bindu is the belief of all dharmas. Whoever knows this will enjoy the body of the bindu. It is the practice of those who are accustomed. Therefore, the essence of this is: unique, subtle, free from elaboration. Emptiness is boundless, self-luminous and vast. Self-nature is self-luminous, equality itself. Non-conceptual, free from elaboration, dwelling in roundness. Unfabricated, self-empowered, because of the completion of the four. Red self-luminous, primordially clear. Because it is stainless and primordially pure. Free from self-grasping and afflictions. Empty by its own self-luminous essence. This is considered its essence. So it is said. Measured from the perspective of definition: Because the nature is unchanging, it is “Thig”. Because it pervades the realm, it is “Le”. Although it appears, there is no self-grasping, so it is emptiness. Because it dispels the darkness of deluded appearances, it is a lamp, as in the string of pearls: Thig is unchanging. Le is pervasive and appears in the realm. Emptiness has no things and characteristics. The lamp turns darkness into light. So it is said. In terms of classification, the bindu of the ground-abiding awareness merges the duality of samsara and nirvana. The bindu of the body-abiding channels makes suffering appear as great bliss. The bindu of the conventional cause gathers the aggregates and elements into one taste. The bindu of the ultimate non-elaboration unites the expanse and awareness equally. The bindu of the self-arisen fruit mixes day and night into luminosity, thereby merging the intention of the victors into the vast and spacious expanse, that is, from the burning lamp: The classification itself has five aspects. The bindu of the ground-abiding self-awareness merges the phenomena of samsara and nirvana into one. The bindu of the body-abiding channels makes happiness and suffering one.

are merged into one. The bindu of relative cause is the cause and condition for generating the aggregates and mind, merging the aggregates, elements, etc., into one. The bindu of ultimate reality, devoid of elaboration, merges the space and awareness into one. The bindu of the self-arisen fruit merges the intentions of all Buddhas into the realm of effortless accomplishment. All of these, through their distinctions, manifest five aspects in the realm of appearances from the unchanging, empty bindu, clearly visible in the state of being merged into one. Thus it is said. Although these five distinctions are established, the empty bindu, devoid of characteristics, does not abide anywhere due to its own nature being emptiness. The luminosity of primordial purity residing on the ground, possessing the special qualities of channels, winds, and bindus, is seen as the object of the senses in the manifest Dharma-nature of the six-element support. All attachment to phenomena is extinguished in the expanse of the great, unchanging bindu of Dharma-nature. Without cultivation, the continuous stream of meditation is uninterrupted, which is the intention of the great, effortless, self-abiding state. From that very state: One's own characteristic, by its nature, is empty, Attachment to anything ceases. Self-nature is unchanging, without thought, Without cultivation, uninterrupted, The bindu devoid of a moon, In the intention of the great, self-abiding state, Constantly abides, free from action and effort. The characteristic of emptiness pervades with clarity. Thus it is said. Fourth, the path of Trekchö is simultaneous arising and liberation. From the moment of realizing the ground as without location, the essence is unchanging from its purity. Therefore, no matter how the play of appearances moves, appearances are understood as without a basis. Consciousness is understood as without an object. Awareness is understood as without a support. Dharma is exhausted, name is extinguished. Therefore, in the self-arisen perfection, it is said: When understanding occurs, there are four times: let go, self-liberate, do not cut off. Thus, that special wisdom which realizes play as Dharma-nature, by letting it rest in its own place, self-liberates itself, and seeing the Dharma-nature of no self-nature is labeled as simultaneous arising and liberation. After the passing, it is said: All appearances and existences arise in the realm of the Dharmakaya. That which arises is liberated in its own place. Thus it is said. Furthermore, whatever defilements, obstacles, and wrong paths arise from the mind being stirred by the wind of awareness, all reside in the place of awareness in the state of non-conceptual wisdom that knows the Dharma-nature.
