The reality of the ground of clear light, well recognized through empowerment instructions, is said to be the view of realizing the reality. Therefore, it is important to distinguish between the ground and the view. The ground is the meaning of the reality of the dharmadhatu, and the view is the nature of realizing that reality. Abiding in the state of realization is meditation, non-conceptual, non-distracted, free from elaboration, pure like the sky, clear light, non-contrived, beyond thought, word, and symbol, awareness bodhicitta, self-luminous abiding is the king of meditation. Thus, having recognized the nature of that dharmadhatu, the meditation of abiding in its state, it should be known as the unerring path of the self and the dharmata being one. Such a principle, in the state of thögal, is called the pure dharmadhatu abiding in the ground, and by being accustomed to it, the path appearance of the dharmadhatu appearance of clear light will also be explained below. Secondly, the path of awareness is special wisdom, like this, if there is no wisdom that knows the nature of the object to be measured, the dharmadhatu, there is a danger of the emptiness of the inner dharmadhatu just mentioned being completely empty, therefore, each with its own self-clarity, self-luminosity The special wisdom of awareness, from the aspect of awareness, has not been cut off. Since the essence is not established, it has not fallen into permanence. From the aspect of object awareness, although it is the same as mind, it does not follow the object and is not defiled by conceptual awareness, so it does not accumulate karma and habitual tendencies, and is the nature of nirvana. The definition is that by realizing the manifestation of compassion and liberation as non-dual, one knows that the nature of all dharmas is empty and selfless, and although phenomena appear, one knows that the nature is empty and clear, so the wisdom of non-conceptualization towards objects is extremely superior, so the word wisdom is included, as it says in the Garland of Pearls: Wisdom realizes all dharmas at once, Superior is the peak of all. The divisions are: the wisdom of the object, the three of hearing, thinking, and meditation; the wisdom of the dharmata, non-conceptualization. The general meaning of the first has already been explained in the sutra path, especially because the object to be measured is related to the wisdom of the measurer, the dharmata depends on mental discrimination, so here it is included in the wisdom of the object, there should be no doubt. Why? Because, its wisdom of meditation depends on hearing and thinking both.

It is merely a verbal commitment, because there is an acceptance of examining the self-nature with conceptual thought. Conceptual thought cannot realize the wisdom of suchness, as it is said in the Sambuti: Consciousness, wisdom, and mind, represent the nature and the basis; wisdom sees the knowable, the knowable examines beings; with the mind that examines beings, how does it go according to its own desires, etc.; there is no conceptual thought and no consciousness, thus those with conceptual thought do not know. Thus it is said. Secondly, the nature of wisdom as the object of measurement, also because there is no appearance of the momentary continuation of mind-consciousness mixed with the wind of movement from the wisdom of non-conceptual thought, it is said that all phenomena are comprehended in an instant. As it is said in the Manjushri Root Tantra: Great wisdom in an instant, holds all phenomena in the heart. Thus it is said. Therefore, for that special wisdom that has not lost the state of knowing the nature of phenomena, because it has a part of awareness, although it is established as the path of awareness, but because there is no movement of the mind that takes objects due to the wind's propulsion, knowing that it is non-conceptual wisdom is in a place that is difficult to realize. Therefore, the feet of the Victorious One (Tsongkhapa) said: Because the wise have not realized the difference between these two, how can the foolish intellect realize it? Thus it is said. In logic, it is also said that the measure of separating mind and wisdom is when phenomena appear in various ways. Therefore, those who wish to understand the special basis of Dzogchen must understand that the function of awareness being propelled by the wind and appearing as grasping and being grasped is mind, and that its function transforms into the eight aggregates of consciousness, such as mind, and the fifty-one mental factors, thereby creating the illusion of the cause and effect of samsara, which is the impurity to be abandoned. As it is said in the Entering the Middle Way: The cessation of mind is the manifestation of the body. Thus it is said. Having understood in this way, to manifest the special self-born wisdom that abides in the ground, which is the essence of the mind of all the Tathagatas, free from all movement, without changing the state of suchness, becoming the basis for the manifestation of all as-it-is knowledge, so it is not like a material object, and the essence of the Dharmakaya, the original purity, has not moved from its own place, and the one with the nature of awareness is the ignorance of the nature of samsara.
