If one has not recognized beforehand, even if one verbally promises to practice the unborn of the Completion Stage, it is like a fox, monkey, lion, or tiger disguising themselves. Here, whether or not one has previously engaged in the gradual introduction of recognizing appearances as mind, etc., the ultimate recognition of awareness directly is the special characteristic of this vehicle. Therefore, this special basis is divided into two ways of introduction: relying on key points and not relying on key points. Among them, the introduction that does not rely on key points is: the mind is deluded by the objects of appearances, emptiness, and various reasons imagined in the mind, and the continuous stream of clinging to the self-nature of things is abandoned without attachment. One does not generate distinctions towards objects, does not contract inward, does not grasp in the middle, does not transform with conceptual thoughts, and does not waver with conceptual thoughts. This clear and free awareness exists at all times. It is introduced through the power of the blessing of a realized guru, thereby directly seeing the reality of no self-nature. As it is said in "Self-Arisen": "Without birth, there is no cessation; without grasping, there is self-liberation; without focus, there is no elaboration; not made, yet arises, pervading all places." If one sees in this way, awareness can measure the reality of the dharmadhatu, therefore one does not rely on the measure of scriptures and reasoning, and one does not generate doubt in oneself, therefore one practices in this state. There are six ways to introduce relying on key points, as it is said in "Ornament of Clear Realization": "The mind is the grasped and the abiding, cutting the root and pursuing things, searching between object and consciousness, all are forgotten in distraction." Among them, the first is to introduce from grasping the mind: the body sits in vajra posture, the breath is natural, the eyes are not closed, the mind abides in its own nature, the state of clear emptiness is the experience, and the clarity and emptiness that are as open as the sky are the realization. As it is said in "Precious Chest Sutra": "From the vow of emptiness, various appearances arise in the realm of awareness." The second is to introduce the state of abiding of the mind: in the moment of not letting go, not abiding, and not intentionally grasping, the natural abiding is the experience, and the clear awareness that is free from limitations and biases is the realization. As it is said in "Self-Arisen": "Not biased towards any side, without limitations, without inside or outside, vast and boundless, pure like crystal,

It is said that appearances are without inherent existence. Thus it is said. Third, introducing by cutting off the root: If the mind is left to its own devices, where does it come from in the beginning? Where does it reside now? Where does it ultimately go? If you examine characteristics such as color and shape, you will find nothing. Suddenly, the exhaustion-like awareness that arises is experience. It is introduced that its characteristic, which is beyond examination, is realization. As it is said in the Prasangika: "Not one, not different, the extremes of permanence and annihilation are exhausted. It does not appear in the many as one, therefore it is beyond one. It is the basis of words because it is unutterable. The essence of reality is emptiness. It does not fall into any direction, it is the meaning of view." Thus it is said. Fourth, introducing by pursuing objects: Mix mind and space. If you cut off the edge and center of space and pursue it, the clarity that arises when the essence of awareness, which is the non-duality of object and mind, goes into a natural meditation without sinking or excitement, is experience. It is introduced that awareness is realization. As it is said in the Ratnagotravibhāga: "Natural meditation is uninterrupted. It is wonderful that there is no sinking or excitement." Thus it is said. Fifth, introducing from between object and awareness: When awareness arises in an object, other than the arising, settle solely in the present moment, without analyzing the object or categorizing the subject. The clinging aspect of that which becomes inexpressible between the two is experience. The state of wakefulness is realization. As it is said in the Kunzang Gongdu: "The nature of awareness is without thought. Because there is nothing, everything arises." Thus it is said. Sixth, introducing by forgetting in distraction: By striking at the very state of distraction, if it is said that the thieves of the eight aggregates of consciousness have arrived at the Sugata-garbha, then the present state of indifference or the unpredicted part will dissipate. When the awareness becomes incomprehensible, that bewildered and confused feeling is experience. It is introduced that the unchanging nature of awareness is realization. As it is said in the Rangshar: "Awareness itself is appearance. It transcends the extremes of permanence and annihilation. It is the inexpressible, perfectly pure Dharma. It transcends the extremes of being and non-being. It is the nature of non-affirmation and non-negation. It transcends the extremes of grasping and attachment. It is the stainless, luminous, spontaneously accomplished." Thus it is said. In this way, whether or not one relies on the key points, it is the same in that the essence is placed on the ground, thereby liberating from view, meditation, and antidote, or awareness is placed on awareness, thereby reducing obstacles and deviations, and there is no opportunity for sinking or excitement.
