I, Kuntuzangpo, have shown that there is not even a particle of difference in obtaining the fruit between those who praise and pray to various beings and those who abide free from actions and activities. O Vajra of Speech! Therefore, the being who practices these words of the Great Self-Arisen will effortlessly gain confidence in experiencing and will attain Buddhahood in the inseparability of appearances and the three kayas. Thus it is said. These kingly words are the great conclusion of unchanging meaning, so if foolish people hear them, there is a danger that they will despise the results of actions, and thus they will become the seventh root downfall and the eighth coarse offense. If those of the lesser vehicle see them, they will be frightened, so keep them secret. From the Self-Arisen: These words should not be spoken even a particle among the Hearers and Solitary Buddhas, and so forth. Why is that? Because when they hear all these words, they will be frightened, startled, and faint. They will lose faith in the secret mantras and become doubtful. Because of the maturation of that, sentient beings will experience great hellish suffering. So, what need is there to speak of teaching and hearing? Do not even speak in the direction of the wind. Thus it is said. Those of middling faculties are liberated upon meditation, so from the aspect of essence, although the root is cut in the great state of natural abiding, if the assemblies that arise from the power do not go to nowhere, grasping will arise in one's own continuum, and since the main cause of greatly increasing samsara does not turn back, the way to realize that arising and ceasing are without self-nature is: Those who are attached to external objects and self, Are not made by a maker, but are accomplished by the increase of mental thoughts. All are born from the rootless and baseless. Merely born, they are perfected without birth. There is no need for a realization other than that. Reading, holding, meditating, and the mind of treatises, If all are destroyed in the conclusions of wisdom, That itself is the Buddha without yearning. Like this, all that appears as outer and inner, vessel and contents, is also like a painting drawn by suddenly arising mental thoughts, and merely the habit of clinging to that is increased. In reality, just as it has never existed from the moment of appearance, so all the phenomena of existence, samsara, and nirvana are also empty in their own essence, and since they are not established as having characteristics, they are without self-nature.

Like the sky, Sudden conceptual thoughts are obscured by clouds, The nature of reality, which is not mistaken, Appears in the mind as a mistaken form. So it is said. In the Avatamsaka Sutra, it says: The mind is like a painter, made by the aggregates of the mind, however many world realms there are, those are all paintings of the mind. Therefore, when the root of unborn is severed, in the state like the sky, no matter how the play of unceasingness moves, just as images of drawings do not remain on the water, from the very moment of birth, if one repeatedly trains in the nature of unborn, then there is no need for other realizations. In the All-Creating King Tantra, it says: O Vajra-being, now meditate on the meaning! In the nature of enlightenment, which is beyond meditation, since there is no duality of meditation and what is to be meditated upon, to leave it in its unmeditated natural state is meditation. The meaning is that the meaning of all is unborn. If conceptual signs are recognized as such, then all memories, thoughts, and movements in the mind, without exception, do not stray from the state of unborn. No matter how one thinks, know that it is meditation. Without meditating, no matter how one abides, there is no distraction. So it is said. In the Secret Essence Tantra, it says: Emaho, wondrous and amazing Dharma! The secret of all perfect Buddhas! From the unborn, all arises. From the very moment of arising, there is no birth. The explanation of this is like applying it to the five: cessation, abiding, focusing, going, and coming. When such extraordinary wisdom reaches its peak, one realizes that external objects are empty, and the objects of grasping are completely purified. Since it does not abide in the realm of appearances, the grasping is without foundation and rootless. The awareness without a basis cannot be touched by the conceptual mind of expression. Because it never errs, there is no need to practice the sequence of view and meditation, so there is no partiality of session and post-session. Since mindfulness has become the nature of reality, the antidotal dharmas are exhausted. Since awareness is known as the Dharmakaya, it is not established as sentient beings and Buddhas. In the Consequence School it says: All dharmas are without basis, where can there be a root? The mind free from existence and desire, unconditioned nature beyond words, the confused thoughts of action and agent are exhausted. There is no Dharma, no Buddha, and no sentient beings. There is no I, no self, no grasper and grasped. It is not something that can be expressed in words. There is not even a place to abide called mind. Because there is nothing, in the appearance of emptiness, the source of memories and awareness is exhausted. Done.
