Because it is impossible to exist simultaneously. If one thinks that because one has not realized it oneself, it has become something other than the Buddha's teachings, then look at the phrase "the sphere of activity of individual self-awareness wisdom." As it is said in the Sambhuti Tantra: "Name and form are indicated by consciousness, wisdom, and mind. Wisdom sees the knowable. The knowable examines sentient beings. The mind that examines sentient beings goes according to its own desires, etc. There is no conceptualization, and there is no name and form. Likewise, logicians do not know." Similarly, the initial undetermined basis of spontaneous accomplishment, and the ultimate liberation of original purity, stainless, are one in essence, but are the basis of later delusion. It is important to know the difference between doing and not doing. Thus, the initial undetermined basis of spontaneous accomplishment is the plan for both samsara and nirvana, while the ultimate place of liberation, original purity, is the reversal of the function of spontaneous accomplishment into awareness, thereby abandoning the aspect of ignorance and perfecting the qualities of the dharmadhatu. Therefore, these two abide in the three aspects of essence, nature, and compassion, and although the qualities of awareness are the same, there is a difference between being tainted and untainted, and whether or not to create a basis for later delusion. Therefore, those who say that the result is liberated on the ground should be understood as reflections of Dzogchen. Similarly, the liberation place of dharmadhatu, original purity, and the present awareness of the path, original purity, although they are the same in terms of being without limitation and partiality, the liberation place itself is complete with the aspect of wind and mind, it is the completely pure samsara and nirvana, original purity. At the time of the path, the wind and mind are impure, subject to conditions, accompanied by the defilements of mind and mental factors, being tainted and burdened, so the actual manifestation is only occasional. Regarding this, the dharmadhatu of the liberation place, original purity, and the awareness of the path at the time of the path, original purity, are not different entities, so they are the same in terms of delusion and the way phenomena appear pure, but the liberation place is the purity of wind and mind, the way awareness dissolves into the dharmadhatu is like a great arrow, it does not return, but now it is tainted and burdened by the defilements of wind and mind, because it is complete with the conditions of the senses, so the actual manifestation is only occasional. Moreover, when wisdom is perfected as its own power, awareness knows in a non-conceptual way, and that itself is directly transparent, not grasping inward, not grasping outward, mutually dependent.

Even if not abiding in a coarse state, when awareness is carried by the wind-mind, if it is kept unwavering from its own face, it is similar to a courageous samadhi, so it does not hinder the path. However, merely with the aspect of thought, it connects externally with objects and internally with the collection of mind, appearing only as a mere mask of grasping and clinging. This cannot be stopped until the exhaustion of the nature of reality, and this should be explained from the perspective of experience. Therefore, in the lower vehicles, the sharp analysis of words such as unborn and unceasing, measured by the two truths, although proven by the cessation truth, freedom from elaboration, and the four great logical arguments of Madhyamaka, the source of thinking, considering, and conceptualization is like a crow hiding something in a hole in the ground, treating it like a cloud. Here, the way to establish both appearance and awareness as devoid of inherent existence is as follows: By introducing appearance as unborn, it surpasses the views of Madhyamaka that do not abide in extremes. By introducing awareness-appearance as self-liberated, it surpasses the views of Cittamatra. By thoroughly penetrating phenomena as non-existent, it surpasses the views of the Shravakas. Thus, by directly pointing out the nature of indivisible truth, it shows that it does not depend on direct perception and inference, so the difference in paths is like heaven and earth. Even in the secret teachings below, where one's own school deeply explains one aspect, it is only similar to the way of measuring awareness with example, meaning, and reason. However, this is like a wise person measuring the three realms, and it is the same as establishing the characteristics of both the object and the basis. Otherwise, even if the basis is seen, the object is not established, which is like a child looking at a temple. Similarly, the radiance of the nature of reality in the bardo, and the illusory body of a deity accustomed to conceptual thought, although appearing as deity forms in the realm of appearance, there is a difference between liberation and non-liberation at the moment of knowing. In this case, the bardo of the nature of reality and the illusory body accustomed to transference, although similar in appearance as deity forms, the bardo of the nature of reality is the spontaneously present, pure, self-radiance that appears as the path-vision on the ground, so liberation is attained and vastness is achieved merely by recognizing one's own face. The deity form of the illusory body is a mask accustomed to conceptual thought, so it is still necessary to traverse the remainder of the path. In particular, the vows of entering this path.
