It is indeed spontaneously accomplished! Also, in the "Garland of Pearls," it says: Essence is primordially pure, beyond expression, Nature is spontaneously accomplished and perfectly manifest. If that is the case, if the tantras establish it with seven grounds, wouldn't it become eight here? Answer: Although primordial purity and spontaneous accomplishment are divided into two functions, they are gathered by one assembly, so there is no contradiction in number. When these two are different entities, if it is primordial purity, it does not know delusion; if it is spontaneous accomplishment, it does not know change, so it is not suitable as the basis for the arising of samsara and nirvana. It is also because the reverse is not mixed and can abandon the nature of the essence. If someone thinks that these two are different, they ask: If you have proven that the respective states of primordial purity and spontaneous accomplishment are flawed, then isn't there also the fault of contradictory entities in one basis here? Answer: From the aspect of emptiness, in terms of ultimate truth, it is primordial purity; from the aspect of appearance, in terms of conventional truth, it is spontaneous accomplishment. These are just labels in name only, and there are no different entities. It is like a Brahmin being a person, but being called that from the perspective of caste. Therefore, it is not that one basis contradicts entities, just as knowing the direction of sleep and the time of sleep. The essence is primordial purity, so it has not experienced samsara; spontaneously accomplishing the power, anything appears. It is said that from the aspect of the essence being pure from the beginning, it is impossible to be deluded into sentient beings, but from the power or play of spontaneous accomplishment, it appears that way and is not contradictory. For example, from the direction of sleep to the state of sleep, there are no dreams in the awareness where the eighty aspects of nature have ceased, but in the appearance where the expanding bindu is carried by the habits of wind, it appears as dreams. Then, is the so-called basis of delusion considered to be the Tathagatagarbha? Or is it considered to be ignorance with its causes? If it is the former, then the Buddha's intention would become associated with delusion; if it is the latter, then the nature of delusion cannot be found. Answer: The essence of primordial purity is the Tathagatagarbha, so it has never experienced delusion, does not experience it, and will not experience it. And the power of spontaneous accomplishment, if it has the Alaya consciousness and the eight aggregates, then not knowing its own nature will be delusion, and knowing its own nature will be liberation, with such a reason. As it is said in the "Six Spaces": Because the essence is primordially pure, sentient beings' samsara is unreasonable, because the defilements of awareness are completely exhausted, the teacher said, "Mind is heroic."

E! Because of the spontaneous accomplishment of self-nature, it also appears as unceasing play. The Bodhisattva again asked: If there is spontaneous accomplishment in self-nature, then these sentient beings are of the lineage of self-liberation. Because of the spontaneous accomplishment from the beginning. The Buddha said that these sentient beings are because of the purity of their essence from the beginning. Those who are liberated also appear as play. Bodhisattva Again asked: Because the essence itself is pure from the beginning, there is no need for spontaneous accomplishment. Or because of spontaneous accomplishment, there is no purity from the beginning. The teacher said that in the way of dwelling, there are no words to express it. Because the sound of expression is separated from words, there is no establishment in what essence, so words do not harm this. In the wisdom realm of sentient beings' self-grasping, various memories and thoughts are unceasing, and there is no difference in the essence of verbal harm. For the sake of ultimate and conventional terms. Thus it is said. Now, for the sake of distinguishing its meaning with pith instructions and explaining it separately. Just like the self-light of Vaiḍūrya, it is not visible because it is not produced by deep clarity and conditions. Likewise, the radiance of abandoning things and signs that are pure from the beginning, the spontaneously accomplished body of the vase with an unbroken outer shell. Because the essence is empty and the radiance is unceasing, it dwells as the basis of all appearances, but the Bodhicitta, which does not move from the ground, does not appear as having the limits of signs. Just like a jewel, Vaiḍūrya, as small as a pea, is in the mountains, and although it dwells invisibly in the crevices, when it encounters conditions, it can emit its own deep and clear light into the sky. The radiating place of both saṃsāra and nirvāṇa, the essence of which is pure from the beginning or the part without birth, although there is no establishment of things, signs, and colors, the part of self-nature that is spontaneously accomplished or without cessation exists as the nature of subtle inner clarity, and if it does not encounter conditions, it does not appear, just like a clear and transparent crystal. Just like a clear and transparent crystal has its own deep and clear light, but if it does not encounter the conditions of sunlight, it does not appear, the unbroken outer shell of the inner clarity within the realm of the same taste of originally pure spontaneous accomplishment is called the body of the youthful vase. In the Six Spaces it is said: The appearance of the spontaneous accomplishment of self-nature, the intention of the precious Gau, in the appearance of the inner wisdom treasure, the unbroken outer shell that is clear is called the abiding way of the youthful vase body. Thus it is said.
