Even the extremely ignorant Garuda, the enemy of the nagas, knows that the appearance of a snake is seen as an object to be seized. Greed arises in the mind, and after swallowing creatures that crawl on their bellies, they think of nothing else, and that is why. Therefore, if the characteristic of the object to be grasped is set only as appearance, then even the appearance of illusion will not exist for the noble ones who are liberated from the grasped and the grasper. For the Buddha's omniscient realm, the appearance of blessings entering also becomes invisible, and so on, there are many faults. Therefore, appearance is not bound by earth, stones, mountains, and rocks, etc., and for it, the attachment of clinging to "that is it" is bound by the analysis of the clinging mind, so Tilopa also said: "Appearance does not bind, attachment binds. Cut off attachment, Naropa!" In particular, considering the object of appearance as the mind is a great mistake. The object of appearance exists even when there is no "I", and it does not change even when it becomes oneself or another. Appearing as colors, etc., is contrary to the mind and matter. If it is really one's own mind, it should go back and forth with oneself, so when oneself exists, it also exists, and when it does not exist, it should also disappear. Therefore, these objects of appearance, such as earth, stones, mountains, and rocks, are taken as objects, and for it, the first thought of "that is it" is considered as appearance, so if its root is cut off, clinging will naturally become pure. Wherever ignorance, the grasped and the grasper, are sudden causes, between the lord of existence, "I" and "mine", if the root of delusion, which is clearly non-existent, is cut off, the All-Creating King (Tibetan: ཀུན་བྱེད་རྒྱལ་པོ།) will dissolve into itself, self-arisen. In this way, the grasped and the grasper are both fabricated, sudden minds, and are the origin of all of the lord of existence, "I" and "mine", so if its root disappears, the eight aggregates of consciousness and the corresponding Alaya consciousness, which is unmentioned, will naturally return to the Dharmadhatu, and be liberated in the original nature. As it is said in the Garland of Pearls: "The mind is the place of all habits, it is the impurity of sentient beings. The grasped is the object, the grasper is the mind, therefore it is the nature of samsara. Separated from the mind is Buddhahood, the impurity of all sentient beings is exhausted." It is said in the Treasury of Precious Qualities: The Great Perfection of Self-Nature is related to the unique way of abiding of the ground.
