Commentary on Chapter Eleven Commentary on Chapter Eleven The latter volume of the commentary on Yon Tan Dzö, the Chariot of Omniscience, is present. Now, in order to explain the Great Perfection of Natural Perfection, which has become the pinnacle of all teachings, the Victorious Ones, in the middle turning of the wheel, with three liberations, the essence of what is to be taught is self-awareness itself. In the realm of sentient beings, in the essence of the Sugata, naturally abiding, it is known as the Great Perfection. Among these, the middle turning of the wheel is the means to liberate from clinging to antidotes, establishing all phenomena through the three doors of liberation. Among these, the door of liberation, emptiness, is characterized by being utterly devoid of self-nature, as there is no object of focus even in the nature of phenomena. Because true entities and the objects of convention are not established, not even a particle established by its own nature can be found. The door of liberation, signlessness, is characterized by peace, because elaboration, signs, and even a slight cause cannot be found. The door of liberation, wishlessness, is characterized by transcending suffering and ignorance, because by focusing on those characterized by suffering with manifest actions, and with wisdom truly following after, there is nothing whatsoever to be wished for in the result. As it is said in the Root Wisdom: The characteristic of emptiness is, being devoid of focus, utterly solitary. Because of signlessness, it is peaceful. The characteristic of the third is suffering and, ignorance, it is said. Thus, the three doors of liberation are also included in the three: ground, path, and fruit. The door of liberation, emptiness, is the ground because it transcends the extremes of existence and non-existence. The door of liberation, signlessness, is the path because it does not abide even now. The door of liberation, wishlessness, is the fruit because it does not rely on the future. It does not abide now, and, the past and future do not exist. Where those are not found, that is called non-finding. Thus, the characteristic of non-finding is also the view of equality of the three times, which eradicates the root of the cause and effect of existence through the door of being devoid of conceptualization, the dissimilar aspect of the essence, the absence of the appearance of signs, the dissimilar aspect of the object, and the separation from ignorance, the dissimilar aspect of the subject, which is called the view of equality of the three times, which is manifest realization.

In the Ornamentation Sutra, it says: "This shore and the other shore are not the limit, nor do they dwell between them. At that time, it is called equality, and it is called Prajnaparamita." Such a view, when externally applied by the intellect and thought, the mind's clinging to reality, which connects the tenets of the philosophical schools, cannot be prevented by any other means than the sharp logic of the Prasangika. Therefore, the view of happiness in the realm of sound-discrimination and attachment is understood by the discriminating mind, and when it is established without contradicting the path of sound and words, it is like the Madhyamaka Prasangika. However, when one enters into equanimity internally, hearing is the remnant of words, understanding is conceptual thought, and experience becomes empty talk. Therefore, the meaning of the middle wheel of Dharma, explained by the collection of reasoning, is to view emptiness as the emptiness in which no meaning of negative negation is seen, and to meditate on the nature of reality in which nothing is focused on. The way of dwelling in one's own nature is to rely on the blessings of the guru and the means of oral instructions, and to realize the last of the three knowledges by directly manifesting it from the wisdom arising from meditation of the Great Perfection of self-nature. These three knowledges are taught in the Mahayana Sutras as: the knowledge of the divine eye, the knowledge of remembering past lives, and the knowledge of the exhaustion of defilements. Knowledge is called knowing. As shown in these three categories, the meaning of the latter is that the Dharma-nature of knowledge, which transcends the eight aggregates of consciousness with thinking, speaking, cause and effect, etc., abides as the wisdom of the Great Perfection of self-nature. As it says in Self-Arisen: "Ema! Great Perfection Ati, not falling into any side, spontaneously using wisdom for its meaning. For example, like a fierce lion, crushing with claws and power. Great Perfection speaks its own language and powerfully subdues the lower vehicles. Great Perfection speaks its own language and abides in its own meaning. In the realm of Great Perfection, there are no Buddhas or sentient beings. On the ground of Great Perfection, there is no good or bad. On the path of Great Perfection, there is no near or far. In the result of Great Perfection, there is no attainment or non-attainment. In the body of Great Perfection, there is no yes or no. In the speech of Great Perfection, there is no translation or non-translation. In the mind of Great Perfection, there are no objects or signs. In the space of Great Perfection, there is no end or emptiness. In the place of Great Perfection, there is no high or low. Great Perfection"
