。Although the essence is unborn emptiness, its radiance appears unceasingly, residing as the basis for all appearances. In the Clear Light Tantra, it is said that before enlightenment became Buddha and non-enlightenment became sentient beings, the self-arisen wisdom of awareness remained unmoved from its ground, dwelling as one with the three unconditioned appearances. Then, the wisdom of awareness itself spoke of the reality of its own way of abiding. O, this vast expanse of great appearance is the great Dharmakaya, the unmoving, unerring great Buddha. The essence-body abides without cessation; the essence is unchanging, the secret means is unmoved, unmoving, unmoving, all appearances are perfected at once, all wisdoms are perfected in an instant, all bodies abide in maturity, all appearances of light are clear without obscuration. In the appearance of reality, without obscuring by the manner of appearance, the three—essence, nature, and compassion—are completely and greatly perfected without interruption. That great reality of essence also abides like a body, but the appearance of face, eyes, and ears does not remain at all. It abides like emptiness, but does not remain at all like inert emptiness. In the great appearance like the five lights, dividing into colors does not remain at all. In the unceasing appearance, it does not remain at all like connection. Like aiming at the absence of beginning and end, but aiming at directions does not remain at all. In the appearance as if not stained by parts, dividing into categories does not remain at all. Appearing as if without interruption, there is nothing at all that appears as above and below in a high place. The appearance of nature is: in the appearance like vastness, there is no partiality; in the appearance like clarity, there is no thing; in the appearance like blue, there is no division; in the appearance like white, there is no holding of categories; in the appearance like yellow, qualities are complete; in the appearance like red, awareness is unobstructed; in the appearance like green, qualities are complete; abiding in the five appearances themselves, there is great non-holding of color. Round without shape, unceasing without conditions, without pervasiveness, there is great self-radiance, self-luminous with inner and outer, without effort or accomplishment, it is naturally accomplished. The appearance of compassion is: in the appearance like emptiness, clarity is unceasing; without elaboration, there is great elaboration; nature is unceasing, there is great indeterminacy of various kinds.

There is no darkness in Lava. Because it is uninterrupted, there is great absence. Because of its descent into emptiness, all things appear greatly. Because it is unmixed, it appears completely and greatly. Because it pervades all, it is greatly united as one. Because it is pure, it is greatly cut off from confusion. Because it is complete, it is greatly seen as one. Compassion abides without interruption. Thus it is said. Furthermore, if we measure from the aspect of the essence of primordial purity, it is neither Buddha nor sentient being. It is neither one nor different, neither end nor middle. It is neither nihilistic emptiness nor a real thing. It is one method with the three unborn appearances. If this is not realized by the wisdom arising from meditating on the sphere of meaning, it is difficult to measure with the mind arising from thought. However, for the time being, from the aspect of the wisdom of hearing, because it is a lineage of oral instructions, even if it is not explained, it is clear in the understanding of the scriptures, like a string of pearls. In the essence of the naturally abiding state, there is no Buddha and no sentient being. There is no ignorance and no confusion. There is no mind and no intention. There is no enemy, no friend, and no relative. There are no afflictions and no self-grasping. There is no going and no coming. There is no dharma and no appearance as dharma. There is no method, and wisdom itself is not. There are no aggregates and no elements. There is no object and nothing to grasp. There are no faculties and no objects. There is no grasper and no grasped. There is no body and no wisdom itself. There is no knower and no object of knowledge. There is no light and no color. There is no sound and no smell. There is no desire and no attachment. There is no sphere and no palace. There is no deity, and it has transcended the object of offering. Thus it is said. Furthermore, in Self-Arisen it says: On the great basis of primordial purity, there is no thought, no ignorance, no mind, no intention, and no grasping. Furthermore, it is like this: uninterrupted wisdom, spontaneously accomplished Buddha, dharma nature free from elaboration, awareness free from extremes, the appearance of great purity, and unbiased view abide. Furthermore, it is vast, clear, unchanging, wisdom is uninterrupted, bindus radiate in various ways, unestablished dharma nature, the outer is not scattered, the inner five lights of wisdom are clear without interruption, and abide in the essence of body and wisdom. Thus it is said. Furthermore, by saying that there is no thought, no ignorance, no mind, and no grasping, the door of samsara, including the eight consciousnesses of the alaya, is blocked. Uninterrupted wisdom
