Because it is extremely subtle and also pure, the inner realm is exhausted, and the outer body also transforms into dust in an instant. Just as the sky inside a vase mixes with the outside sky when the vase breaks, the thusness of wisdom that holds the aggregates in the nature of the dharmadhatu mixes. The realm and wisdom are pure, mixed without equality or difference, and Buddhahood is attained. As it is said in the Sutra of Completely Holding All Virtuous Roots: The essence of the Tathagata is like a lamp inside a vase, like the clarity that appears when the vase is broken. This scripture also refutes the argument that the metaphor and the meaning are not related. The second is that, just as no one can see the corpse when a dakini and a miraculously born being die, the dependent body and the dependent wisdom are mixed, and on the basis of the present existence, the dust of the body becomes invisible in an instant, and the wisdom also dissolves into the realm and does not return, like a great arrow shot. In Drakmar Monastery in Tongkhung Rong, Bangsang, the direct disciple of Vairo Buddha Gonpo, and in Wa Sengge Drak, three of his lineage disciples passed away one after another within a year of the Snake year, as mentioned earlier. The third is that, although the way in which wisdom dissolves and the realm of liberation are the same after the defilements of wind and mind are purified, just as the fire that burns does not remain after the combustible firewood is burned. When the internal elements are exhausted, the grossness of the aggregates disappears into a mass of light. For example, two disciples of Gyer Gom Shipo became masses of light in the cave of Do Tsen and disappeared into the sky. The fourth is that when vidyadharas jump from ground to ground, they go into the sky with sound and light, and manifest inconceivable manifestations in other buddhafields, doing the work of benefiting others. Just as the body born of ripened karmic imprints transforms into a light body, and is shown to guide others, and is seen by all beings, the footprints of the great sovereign of yoga, Jetsun Sengge, are in the sky directly above Wo Yug Chi Gong, accompanied by light and sound, and disappear into a mass of light. As it is said in the Solar and Lunar Union Tantra: Whatever the way of death of the dakinis, and the way of death of the vidyadharas, like a flame, self- exhausted, like the emptiness unseen in the sky, all these are the exhaustion of the elements themselves.

Such a state of non-appearance and non-grasping is the realm of the highest yogi. By becoming accustomed to this, one gains spontaneous power. Thus it is said. Even if, from the perspective of view and meditation, one reaches the point where thoughts are exhausted, one should still generate great respect for the teachings. Some noble beings who are solely devoted to the benefit of sentient beings do not exhaust the wind of karma through the wheel of action. Since striving solely for the benefit of others after accomplishing one's own purpose is a characteristic of the Great Vehicle, even for the sake of benefiting sentient beings with just relics and remains, they accomplish the deeds of manifestly attaining enlightenment. Like this, the future Buddha Sumeru Lamp Banner, from the stage of the path of learning, the ninth, Excellent Intelligence, blazing with stainless light, immediately after gaining mastery over the fourfold perfect knowledge, having reached the ultimate in abandonment and realization, the manifest valid cognition, inseparable from the Buddha's word, the great Dharma wheel of Samantabhadra, can be known even through so many categories of Dharma. Such individuals, as a sign of believing in a unique tenet, do not engage their minds with the provisional meanings of the lower paths. Because they directly see the meaning of suchness, they do not follow after words of intellectual speculation. Because they have gained confidence in the nature of reality, which is free from effort, they do not engage in the Dharma of hope and fear. Because they are free from grasping at reality and characteristics, they are not deceived by worldly conformity. Even if they are sick, they do not rely on divination, medicine, and rituals like ordinary people. Even if they die, they have no expectation of seventh-day ceremonies and cremation, so like wild animals, they enjoy vast, solitary hermitages where people do not frequent. Like a lion that is not afraid of anything, they are free from the fear of death and the hope and fear of not dying. Like a beggar, even if they die in the street or on the highway, they are not discouraged. Like a small child, without any certainty about dying or not dying, these four are signs that the attachment to objects is purified, and that illusion and the clinging to reality have ceased. As it was said before: Likewise, those of middling faculties, The manner of dying like a wild animal, Is the manner of dying of a yogi. Likewise, like a lion, Or like a beggar, Likewise, dying like a small child, Is the place of death for a middling yogi. Thus it is said. Such a person has transcended the Dharma of view and meditation, therefore, it is the breath of a Bodhisattva.
