Light and darkness are not produced by the world, because there is no limit to coming and going in samsara. Because it is not bound by effort and striving, it is naturally and spontaneously produced. Because there is no limitation or partiality, good and evil are not established, because both good and evil have been eliminated. Because it does not abide in samsara and nirvana, the emptiness of Dharma-nature is universal. In abiding in the self-nature of innate wisdom, there is no distinction of the three aspects. Thus it is said. In 'The Perfection of Lion's Strength,' it says: 'I, Dharmakaya, the Unthinking Samantabhadri, when looking outward at the realm of the luminous awareness of Dharma-nature, see the awareness free from diversity within. When looking outward at the realm of self-awareness, I find the great essence of Dharmakaya, the Unthinking, within.' As exemplified by this, even relying solely on the Bodhicitta Kunjed Gyalpo, one can nakedly realize the faults of samsara and nirvana. However, in these examples, various names such as self-born wisdom, Bodhicitta, Dharmakaya, awareness, primordial purity, and freedom from elaboration are merely symbolic terms used for the sake of understanding. If one does not realize the great state beyond words and thought due to the blessings and devotion of the supreme guru, then clinging to the name and meaning of 'awareness, self-luminous and naked,' merely fixating the mind on the consciousness that has not been established in grasping and being grasped, and proclaiming that one has truly understood the actual state of Dzogchen, is truly absurd. As Kunjed says: 'Leave yourself alone, do not seek others far away. Accept effortless bliss, do not strive. In the cessation within, there is nothing greater than that. Because it is inherently so, there is no straying, no losing. Effortless action transcends all actions and accomplishments.' Thus it is said. Therefore, in order to practice by understanding the meaning of primordial purity, Longchen Rabjam says: ཀ་ (Tibetan, kā, Devanagari, का, Romanized Sanskrit, ka, literal meaning: beginning) means the first arising, དག་ (Tibetan, dag, Devanagari, दग, Romanized Sanskrit, dag, literal meaning: pure) means the collection of the end of all defilements. Thus it is said. That is, if those of superior faculties can be liberated in the moment of seeing, directly recognizing the unaltered nature, then the self-nature's primordial purity will not be bound by the clinging of grasping and being grasped. And, because distraction has been transformed into Dharma-nature, it will not be touched by any concepts of right and wrong, like the sky, therefore, one does not meditate on emptiness, does not cling to clarity, and is without duality.

Not judging, not releasing, not doubting, not striving. The intelligence of self-knowing nature. In the state of being aimless and empty, without adding the confusion of the meditator and the meditated upon, it is revealed by the twelve great vajra laughs. As it is said in the Heap of Jewels: O Vajra Essence of the Speech of all Buddhas! Look at the self-arisen wisdom, which transcends virtue and vice, and contemplation, it is wonderful. Since the ground is not moved, whatever actions of body and speech are done, they are free from virtue, vice, benefit, and harm, haha! O Vajra of Speech! Look at the way things naturally exist, this appearance does not change a hair, does not change color, it is wonderful. No matter how you think about happiness and suffering, the meaning does not change, haha! O Vajra of Speech! Look at the wisdom of the great emptiness, the source of all things, no matter what kind of thoughts and actions are done, they appear as play, it is wonderful. No matter how it is done, it is born without obstruction and liberated in the space, haha! O Vajra of Speech! Look at the wisdom of the emptiness of nature, which pervades all things, it is wonderful that it is unborn and has always been together. Even if a hero takes a sharp sword and kills all beings at once, that person's mind is free from benefit and harm, haha! O Vajra of Speech! Look at the wisdom of your own consciousness, the emptiness that appears in all things, it is wonderful that everything that appears appears as your friend, no matter what appears, it does not move from your ground, haha! O Vajra Essence of Speech! Look at the appearance of intelligence, the emptiness that liberates all things, it is wonderful that you are your own enemy and you are great, haha! O Vajra of Speech! Look at the nature of intelligence, the emptiness that purifies all things, it is wonderful that the fruit is obtained without effort, haha! O Vajra of Speech! By holding one thing, all of samsara and nirvana are purified in non-duality, haha! O Vajra of Speech! Look at the measure of the great emptiness of the essence, the basis of all things, it is wonderful that the six realms appear as the three bodies. Beings become Buddhas in an instant without doing any meditation Haha! O Vajra of Speech! Look at the fruit of the three bodies, the great emptiness, the original perfection, it is wonderful that the nature of things is without gathering and scattering in the three times. Without practicing the perfections, the accumulations are in one moment
