Therefore, because of abiding in this, emptiness cannot be touched by terms. Differentiated, the view gathers everything, pervading the basis free from elaboration. Actions have no good or bad, the three realms appear as completely liberated. Self-nature appears as empty and clear, there is no benefit or harm of good and evil. Characteristics have no letters, various vehicles cannot attain enlightenment, therefore the faculties are liberated in a single instant. Differentiated, there are two: one is that the view of appearance-dependent has no action; the other is that the mind's thoughts are gathered into unborn. The first is: the essence has no dharma nature, even the name of Buddha is not established. Self-nature has no cessation, samsara appears as distinct. Characteristics do not abide in one, therefore view and meditation are limitless. The second is: the essence is pure as unborn, afflictions are purified in the rootless. Self-nature appears without cessation, yet it is free from the effort of abandoning and taking. Characteristics are primordially liberated, therefore the source of samsara and nirvana collapses. At these times, the temperature of view and meditation is eliminated in the manner of bloodletting and eliminating obstacles, that is: when the view wavers, one knows the weakness of samsara. When the view is obtained, the body and speech obtain warmth. When the view is stable, one distinguishes samsara and nirvana. When meditation wavers, the wind-mind is controlled. When meditation is obtained, the mind enters the path. When meditation is stable, the function of wisdom is perfected. When behavior wavers, behavior has no attachment. When behavior is obtained, illusion is overwhelmed. When behavior is stable, one obtains the temperature of the three bodies. Therefore, by eliminating the obstacle of dharma nature with view, one can become a Buddha even without relying on dharma. By eliminating the obstacle of distraction with meditation, all thoughts appear as meditation. By eliminating the obstacle of appearance with behavior, the conditions of appearance are liberated as dharma nature. Thus, the three of view, meditation, and behavior, either one hidden and two manifest, or two hidden and one manifest, etc., are terms that grasp the grasped and the grasper, abandoning the knowledge of the object at the point, and thoroughly revealing awareness, which is an extremely profound instruction. For example, in the Madhyamaka school, like diamond slivers and proofs such as existence and non-existence, arising and cessation. Such profound instruction categories have an outer circle like the body, an inner circle like the eyes, a secret circle like the heart, and a most secret unsurpassed circle like the completion stage. As stated in "Lamp Illuminating": the outer circle is like the body, terms are vast.

Mat. The inner circle is like the eye, what is seen is the Dharma of symbolic expression. The secret circle is like the heart, what is remembered is the Dharma of essential nutrients. This is like a person with a completely perfect body. So it is said. Among them, the outer circle: because afflictions are not established in its essence, the five poisons are transformed into the path. Because there is no effort or striving in its nature, whatever appears is the adornment of the Dharma nature. Because there is no error in its characteristic, the Dharma nature is not divided into anything. The inner circle: because its essence transcends form, the Dharma nature is not cut off into partiality. Because there is no going and coming in its nature, it is the constant and continuous wisdom. Its characteristic is that it penetrates both samsara and nirvana, so it arises like a root. Because its own essence is different and integrated, it is like a trunk. Because its power and appearance expand in any way, it is like a branch. Because its clarity does not cease, it is like a flower. Because various things ripen into one, it is like a fruit. The secret circle: because its essence is known all at once, it does not depend on the three wisdoms. Because its nature is liberated when the breath ceases, it is free from dependence on the bardo. Its characteristic is primordial liberation, so it transcends the attraction of the two accumulations. Furthermore, the unsurpassed secret: because its essence is not an object of knowledge, it does not depend on words and terms. Because its nature is directly seen, the Dharma nature does not abide in conceptual thought. Its characteristic is the four appearances, so the three bodies of perfection appear as the path appearance, and one does not cling to the delay of the fruit, but unites with the primordial ground in this very life. Thus, after the secret meaning of the three sections of the Great Perfection has been directly and plainly explained in the realm of space, if the three are combined, they are included in the nine spaces. Because the view is free from elaboration, the essence is the space of immutability. Because the meditation is natural, it is the space of no judgment of right and wrong. Because the fruit is completely accomplished, it is the space of no primordial hope and fear. Because there is no permanence or annihilation in its essence, it is the space of no establishment or refutation of the knowable. Because there is no reason in its nature, it is the space of the Dharma nature without cessation. Because there is no entanglement in its characteristic, it is the space of liberation from appearance and mind. Because there are no three times in the realm of space, it is the space of immutability. Because anything arises in its play, it is the space of unceasing self-arising. Because there is no partiality in spontaneous equality, it is the space of primordial liberation and immediate abiding, which are combined into nine spaces. These are also in terms of summarizing the meaning, the treasury of manifestation. In terms of summarizing the words, it abides in sixty-four hundred thousand verses in chapters.
