"Beyond the realm of words." Also, from the Abundant Bliss it says: "The nature of mind, without root, cannot be found by searching, there is nothing to grasp. Naturally as it is, in the state of emptiness, it is self-born wisdom beyond words." So forth. Thus, the scriptures that express the Mind Class, taught in twenty-two hundred thousand shlokas, can be summarized into three spaces (ཀློང༌།). Since the nature of reality is not established anywhere, the essence is a space beyond expression; since everything is permissible in emptiness, the view is a space without anything that is not; since there is no object of fixation, characteristics are not established, so conduct is a space without anything that is. If measured in folios, it resides in three hundred and fifty thousand, and can be gathered into three expanses (འཕྱོང༌།): the expanse of abiding in the ground of the way things are, the expanse of appearances arising as self-liberation, and the three expanses of essence being equal and without difference. These also include fifty nails of words that do not deviate from the nature of reality, five hundred and eleven stakes of meaning that reverse the duality of object and mind, two ten thousands of key points that distinguish appearance and mind simultaneously, five ten thousands of conduct that elevates the view beyond the peak, and one thousand key points that sever conceptual thoughts through meditation. Among the more than one thousand and three named scriptures, they can also be gathered into three: holding the aspect of mind, holding the confidence of mind, and holding the key points of mind. If these are closely combined on the ground of reality, they do not expand with the view of the nature of reality as an object, as in other instructions. In the state of the awareness of the subject, in the clear and transparent self-born wisdom free from elaboration, without abandoning the knowable that arises from others, it is perfected merely as the power or play of the self-liberated mind, hence it is known as the various Mind Class. As it says in the All-Creating King: "Self-born wisdom is beyond all objects, it does not place conceptual thought on top of objects, because it is beyond objects it does not guard the consciousnesses, because things are clear in essence it does not meditate, because appearances are clear in essence there is no hope or fear." So forth. Second, the essence of the Space Class, which speaks of the fruit as primordial liberation, is: all phenomena that appear as objects are established in the vast space of Samantabhadri, the nature of reality, like the ornaments of self-arising awareness, and in the great view of neither being nor non-being, there is no bondage or liberation. How appearances are

Since appearance is also emptiness, and is primordially liberated, awareness itself does not desire to appear outwardly, and all the dharmata of mind and mental events are merely self-appearances, not established as appearers. Since the emptiness of the aspect of appearance does not find fault with the ultimate reality, various appearances are naturally empty and naturally vanish. However they may appear, like the arrangement of stars in the sky, they are merely ornaments of self-appearance. Unlike the Mind Class, awareness does not desire to appear as power and play, and it is not regarded as mutually dependent and biased. This is the vast expanse of primordial liberation, the sixth expanse. It is free from the elaboration of many indicative words. Not born from mantra, it is the primordially complete nature. All causes and conditions are completely absent. It is free from all the stains of view and meditation. Without end, there is no focus in the center. Without form, and without objects. Without deities, there are no mantras. Without dharma, it transcends all designations. Without enemies, there are no friends. Without a body, there is no appearance as faculties. Dharma is not apparent to thought. Without anything, there is no grasping onto anything. Without me, there are no retinues of me. Without space, there is no body of awareness. Without merit, there is no ripening of sin. Without life, there is no object of cutting. Without accumulation, there is no place of accumulation. Without buddhas, there are no sentient beings. Without a place, there is not even emptiness. Without means, there are no retinues of listeners. Without an object, there is not even the three times. There is no collection of the three times. So it is said. If divided, there are four. The Black Expanse speaks of no cause, thus showing the self-born wisdom that does not depend on causes and conditions. The Variegated Expanse speaks of variety, thus there is no negation or affirmation of the nature of play. The White Expanse speaks of mind, thus the inner and outer appearances of awareness are complete as the power of mind. The Vast Expanse reverses cause and effect, thus the peg of self-recognition is hammered into the awareness of the non-duality of object and mind, which does not distinguish between samsara and nirvana. Each of these also has internal differences, but if summarized, they are the spontaneously accomplished vast expanse, the self-luminous effortless expanse, and the unmade, primordially established expanse, which are summarized into three aspects. To show the vastness of the nature, the expressive words of the tantra number three thousand, the chapters number eleven thousand, and sixty-four crore shlokas are taught in the Great Treatise on the Manner of Certainty Descending, thus it is the boundary of the world.
