For humans, appearing as Shravakas, Pratyekabuddhas, and Chakravartin kings; for Asuras, appearing as weavers of fine patterns; for birds, appearing as wooden horses, and for wild animals, appearing as lion kings, steadfast tutelary deities, and so on. In short, for hell beings and pretas, from the tamer manifesting in forms similar to them, never being negligent for the sake of sentient beings. This, in the various realms of the six worlds, according to the places of karma and habitual tendencies, good and evil causes and effects, the appearances of happiness and suffering, high and low, accomplished the benefit with teachers who accord with their own appearances, and the Dharma also changes according to the minds of those to be tamed, and time also follows the course of their own destinies, appearing in this way to beings in impure realms. Therefore, although the realms of sentient beings are inconceivable, considering that they gather in the six realms, in order to tame them, manifesting as six Buddhas who are the basis of the tamer's emanations, and also appearing as further emanations. In the realm of the gods, from the Four Great Kings to Akanishta, Brahma, Indra, Sundara, and others, each as the chief of their respective positions, teach the Dharma of abandoning sins to the minds of their retinues, in accordance with the languages of each sentient being, or alleviate suffering. Similarly, in the human world, for Shravakas, Pratyekabuddhas, Bodhisattvas, and other righteous individuals, or Chakravartin kings, kings of small local kingdoms, Brahmins, hunters, prostitutes, and others with attachment and aversion, they also teach in ways that tame them. The 'Praise of the Brave' says: 'Whose nature is free from attachment and aversion, yet to those with attachment, he appears as if with attachment, to tame the wicked, to those with anger, he appears as if with anger, to that guide with skillful means, I prostrate.' It is like that. Similarly, for Asuras, appearing as weavers of fine patterns; for birds, appearing as wooden horses; the peacock king appearing as golden; for flesh-eaters and others; for wild animals, appearing as lion kings, steadfast tutelary deities; Sharabha; Kunda; for hell beings, appearing as fierce executioners; for pretas and others, in short, exemplified by what is clear in the lineage of past lives, the forms of each of the six realms corresponding to the tamer are inexhaustible, and the ways in which they appear as various places, happiness and suffering, can be seen from the 'Excellent Golden Light Sutra': 'The Buddha Bhagavan is inconceivable, the Tathagata is the permanent body, for the benefit of sentient beings, he manifests various emanations.'

Manifesting various forms. Likewise, the names and terms of the Dharma of the Greater and Lesser Vehicles are also uncertain. Wherever there is an approach to abandoning sins and benefiting sentient beings temporarily and ultimately, such as in the arrangement of Zamatog, the evil demon sits on a precious throne and proclaims the Dharma, that itself is also established as the Sutra of the Buddha. Similarly, wherever the teacher and retinue gather in interdependent origination, the Dharma heard in accordance with the individual capacities of sentient beings is also uncertain. Why? Because the teachings of the Tathagata, when established through the means of self-cause, are definitely the three commands: those spoken from the mouth, those blessed, and those permitted. Moreover, in the realm of the Dharmakaya, in the ultimate and true Akanishta, the teacher Samantabhadra speaks with his own nature to the retinue of the Ocean of Wisdom. And the Bhagavan Vajradhara and others speak in the densely arranged Akanishta, the five fields of perfect enjoyment, and in the secret Akanishta, the lotus palace of Vajrayogini, etc., to the retinue of self-appearing awareness, in a way that is beyond words and expressions. And in the various different realms of the Nirmanakaya, the Bhagavan Shakyamuni Buddha speaks to the fourfold retinue with beautifully composed words and phrases. Secondly, the command blessed by the body is like the moment when the Bodhisattva Vajragarbha's head is touched by the hand, the courage to explain the Ten Bhumi Sutra arises, like the question of Vimukticandra. The command blessed by speech is like the command to Manjushri, "Eliminate the regret of King Ajatashatru," and from that, that Sutra arose. The command blessed by mind is like the Bhagavan abiding in the Samadhi of Profound Appearance, blessing Shariputra and Avalokiteshvara, and from that, the two of them, one asking and one answering, gained courage, and from that, the Heart Sutra arose. The blessing that spontaneously arises from the accomplishment of qualities and activities is said in the commentary: "By the blessing of this teacher, birds or branches, stones, lotuses, etc., and wish-fulfilling trees, what arises from the great drum, is also called a command because it is blessed by the Victorious One." Etc.
