If one does not even acknowledge the state of ultimate purity as being transformed by the nature of discipline and vows, then as it says in the Madhyamakālaṅkāra, "Through discipline, one goes to the happy realms; through view, one attains the supreme state. Discipline is easy to lose, but the view is not like that." Therefore, ultimately, there is nothing among all conditioned truths of the path that is not accomplished by emptiness. Moreover, regarding its discipline, the teacher Āryadeva himself said, "For whom emptiness is possible, everything is possible. For whom emptiness is not possible, nothing is possible." This contradicts the above statement. Furthermore, if the five aggregates of appropriation and the eight aggregates of consciousness, which are the nature of conditioned phenomena, are contained only in the separate entities of the three vows, then the enjoyment body Buddhas and the eight close sons, etc., as well as the great accomplished ones, the great lord of yoga, Saraha, Padmasambhava, Śawaripa, etc., would also become sinners by abandoning the conduct of monks, and would fall into common and individual downfalls. Saraha said, "Alas! I am a Brahmin, and I engage with a bamboo woman." And he said, "Yesterday I was not a monk, but from today onwards I am a monk. Heruka is the supreme monk." Because he later became the abbot of Nāgārjuna. As it is said in the Ārya Saṃcaya Sūtra, "If a Bodhisattva practices the path of the Victorious Ones, thinking, 'These beings are disciplined, these beings are undisciplined,' and engages in various discriminations, then he is an extremely undisciplined person, his discipline is lost, and he does not have true discipline. For whom there is no thought of self and no thought of sentient beings, and no thought of desire, where is there any discipline? For whom there is no arrogance of discipline and non-discipline, this is said to be led by discipline." Although this is so, that unconditioned, unsurpassed discipline is the realm of experience that naturally arises for the great accomplished ones who have seen the noble truths, and it cannot be measured by the understanding of ordinary beings based on their own experiences. Therefore, on the path of practice with faith, one should only respectfully follow the instructions of the scriptures. Have

One should practice the precepts that have been made, fully grasping them with skillful means and wisdom. If one lacks these two, then those who are naturally afflicted by disturbing emotions cannot be restored. In short, avoid not understanding the hidden secrets, and avoid openly proclaiming the concealed secrets to everyone. This is the instruction. Thus, if one knows the permissions and prohibitions of the Vajrayana path properly and practices accordingly, it is more excellent and swift than other paths. Killing Brahmins daily and committing the five inexpiable sins, since it is suitable as a basis for generating mantra vows, what need is there to mention the greatness of secret mantra methods? Even if those to be trained, who have been abandoned by other vehicles, are those who possess actions such as the five inexpiable sins, they are still suitable as a basis for generating mantra vows. As long as they are filled with remorse and turn away from those evil deeds, and then regard a qualified guru who shows the path as a Buddha, and practice according to his instructions without wavering, then the blessings of the Buddha, which cannot be obtained even from the guru himself, let alone the perfections, will manifest in the state of mantra. By respectfully regarding and accepting each and every aspect of the samaya, immeasurable obscurations will be exhausted and great accumulations will be perfected. Because there are profound and numerous methods, it becomes the object of sharp faculties, and there is also the possibility of liberation in one lifetime. As it says in the Four Seats: 'Killing Brahmins daily, and committing the five inexpiable sins, and enjoying the fruits of thievery, one will be liberated by this path, and will not be stained by sin.' Also, as it says in the First Excellent One: 'Butchers, bamboo makers, and so on, and those who commit the five inexpiable sins, if they follow the practice of mantra, they will become Buddhas in this very life.' Nevertheless, it is not accomplished by disparaging the guru. As it says in the Compendium: 'Beings who commit great evils such as the five inexpiable sins, can also achieve accomplishment in this ocean of Vajrayana and supreme vehicle. Those who disparage the teacher from the heart, even if they practice, will not achieve accomplishment.' Therefore, not knowing the limits of transgression, not respecting the guru, being accustomed to carelessness, and the power of strong disturbing emotions, these four are the four doors through which downfalls occur. On top of these, adding great forgetfulness and unclear mindfulness, these are the six causes of breaking samaya.

Therefore, with mindfulness and awareness as antidotes, just as a blind person who has been blind for many years is fortunate enough to have a skilled doctor separate the cataract with a surgical knife, he is careful and cautious day and night until the wound heals. Similarly, for the six periods of day and night mentioned earlier, with mindfulness held by awareness, one should think of oneself as a vessel of faults, contrary to merit, thereby destroying arrogance and guarding against faults such as carelessness. Therefore, one must destroy arrogance and realize that one has not made a mistake, as stated in the scriptures. Such feelings with a cautious mind, if the precepts are deficient, the method of remedy is also more superior than the lower precepts. The precepts of the Hearers, if the mind of concealment has not arisen, can be remedied seven times; if with the mind of concealment, even once cannot be remedied, just like a broken pottery. The Bodhisattva precepts are like precious enjoyments being damaged, which need to rely on other conditions and rely on a virtuous teacher to remedy. The Secret Mantra precepts are like a precious vessel tilting, which can be remedied by one's own power. If one despises the Guru and Dharma brothers, one must immediately please them and confess. If the word of the oath is broken, one must practice the Vajra Dharma, recite the heart mantra or the hundred-syllable mantra a hundred thousand times.
