The three realms encompassed by the three aspects of body, speech, and mind held by the earth element, the three aspects of wind arising, entering, and abiding, and the three aspects of mind and appearance, are purified from the afflictive obscurations and completely purified from the cognitive obscurations. Moreover, with that very nature (emptiness) as the primary focus, the eightfold noble path common to the characteristic vehicle (Nyingma) becomes the ultimate antidote, thereby transforming the eight distinct consciousnesses into wisdom. Because the life force of the two channels of grasping and being grasped is seized by the Avadhuti, the waves of what is grasped subside, thereby accomplishing the result of pure body; and the waves of grasping subside, thereby obtaining the result of pure speech. Engaging in such yoga, the eight qualities of mastery also manifest in the bodies of the four vidyadharas and so forth. Subtle and light, able to become minute, able to act, great self, making joyful, all become subject, doing as desired, these are the eight qualities of mastery. Among these, subtle means seeing all phenomena of samsara and nirvana as the nature of the Middle Way. Lightness is the wind of wisdom, by whose power one can instantaneously go to and see the realms of the universe pervading space through miraculous powers. Able to become minute means that when wind and mind enter the central channel, one realizes that all self and others dissolve into emptiness, and all dualistic appearances vanish. Able to act means that the inner consort is the central channel, and due to the interdependent arising of wind and mind entering therein, one can outwardly enjoy the five uncontaminated objects of desire, such as the nature of the form vajra. Great self means possessing radiant marks and signs, completely conquering the four maras, and becoming the master of power and strength. Making joyful means being able to show beings various manifestations of body and speech, etc., as they desire, thereby satisfying their wishes. All become subject means being able to establish beings in the state of perfecting the two accumulations, so there is not a single moment that is not for the benefit of others. Doing as desired means, for the benefit of oneself and others, being able to freely cause hail to fall, produce the sound of a tsunami, transform one into many, and transform many into one, etc., obtaining mastery over miraculous powers. All of this depends solely on one's own intention, therefore, in order to obtain mastery over all uncontaminated qualities, it is called mastery.

It is called "endowed." Thus, the stage of union of the thirteenth ground, from that very state, the actual result is the Sambhogakaya, the body of union, endowed with seven limbs: The body, all forms, appearing as images of all knowable things, is union. Speech, all forms, free from the obscurations of sounds and words, is perfect enjoyment. Mind, all forms, liberated from the thoughts of grasping and being grasped, enjoying the great bliss that is unchanging. Moreover, it is without inherent existence, that is, liberated from the extreme of nihilistic negation, with the four characteristics of self-knowing awareness, self-benefit is perfectly fulfilled. From being completely filled with compassion, like a wish-fulfilling jewel or a wish-fulfilling tree, other-benefit arises effortlessly, the compassion without an object of focus. That great compassion itself is never interrupted, so it is constant. And, in accordance with the inclinations and faculties of those to be trained, the images of the form body and the infinite gates of the Dharma appear without ever ceasing, and with these three, other-benefit is spontaneously accomplished, so it is called a Buddha who spontaneously accomplishes the two benefits. Dharmata does not go anywhere, does not abide anywhere, is inexpressible, pervades all samsara and nirvana, is omniscient to those to be trained, all forms and meanings, abides in the minds of all sentient beings, is completely liberated from all sins, and is adorned with all qualities. So, where does this come from? From burning all the dry trees of knowable objects with the fire of non-discrimination and manifesting it, in order to dispel the fear of children, it is established as a synonym for the Tathagata, namely: Manjushri, this unborn and unceasing is a synonym for the Tathagata. Thus it is said. In the Praise of the Transcendent, it is said: The Buddhas are the Dharmakaya, pure like the sky. Thus it is said. From the Treasury of Precious Qualities, the section on the general establishment of the category of Vidyadharas, is the commentary on the tenth chapter. Pages 601 to 727.
