O! In both outer and inner tantras, if one does not remember the purity of holding the vajra and bell alternately, one will break the samaya. As it is said: That is a mindless yogi, like an elephant ringing a bell. Especially according to the inner secret mantra, the vajra is the wish-fulfilling jewel of skillful means, and the bell is the lotus of wisdom. The seal of combining the two mutually is the samaya of the mudra. Similarly, secretly uniting the red and white elements through the cause of melting bliss is the suchness of the co-emergent wisdom of bliss and emptiness, the great bliss wisdom vajra that does not change into any other form. Uniting the emptiness endowed with all perfections with the dharma nature of the wisdom bell is the wisdom body, which is the great mudra. If these meanings are explained without inversion through the three aspects of symbols, meanings, and signs, it depends entirely on the vajra master. Therefore, there is also the desire for one's own guru or teacher to bestow empowerment, which is mentioned incidentally. In any case, it should be held with respect, that is: Before the great noble vajra lineage, the mudra of vajra and bell, I will hold it correctly and pay homage, and I will also hold the teachers. This is the third samaya of the Ratna lineage, Ratnasambhava: outwardly, it is established by the difference in size of material giving, as well as the giving of dharma, the giving of fearlessness and protection, and the giving of loving-kindness that desires all beings to attain unsurpassed bliss, these four are given every day, even six times. Among them, the jewel is the wisdom of equality, and the lineage is the source of needs and desires from it, therefore it is Ratnasambhava. The samaya is the nature of those who delight in giving to bestow it. If one cannot do this every day, one should have the thought of giving one's own body, possessions, and all roots of virtue to others, or practice the first and last two or all four of the four immeasurables, which is also good. Before the great noble Ratna lineage, in the pleasing samaya, every day, even six times, always give the four kinds of giving. This is the fourth samaya of the Padma lineage, Amitabha: outwardly, the vehicles of the Hearers, Solitary Realizers, and Bodhisattvas
