Having meditated, one eliminates non-elaboration through elaboration itself. Thus it is said. Therefore, the function of meditating on the generation and completion stages is that, during the generation stage, one meditates on the outer vessel world as a palace, and the appearance in the mind is extremely vast, such as the three thousand great thousand worlds, etc. Or, one trains in viewing the appearance of mere eye consciousness, such as earth, stones, mountains, and rocks, as having intrinsic characteristics, and by meditating on them as deities and goddesses, the appearance in the mind appears like a dream, purifying all the actions and habitual tendencies of the three times, and the habitual tendencies of clinging to reality in the mind that appears in mere eye consciousness, along with their parts. In particular, one knows that one's own aggregates, elements, and sense bases also have the nature of deities from the beginning, and by clarifying and stabilizing them, one purifies the obscurations of the form aggregate, etc., completes the accumulation of merit, and generates meditative stabilization of calm abiding, which has a greater aspect of bliss. Moreover, in the three, outer, inner, and Buddhist tantras, there is only a small part of the generation stage that is like illusion, as well as increasing, protecting, meditating on the four mindfulnesses, and gathering up after the session, etc. There are no profound stages such as being skilled in methods of training that are in harmony with samsara and appearance, as in the unsurpassed. The completion stage is that, having gathered up the elaboration of viewing the appearance as deities and palaces, one strikes the essential points of the subtle bindus, as well as the nature of the channels, winds, and bindus, thereby powerfully eliminating the obscurations of afflictions, and from the perspective of making the wind and mind workable, it is easy to see the nature of insight, thereby completing the accumulation of wisdom. In particular, the obscurations of knowledge are purified by the inconceivable completion stage, and the wisdom of non-conceptualizing the nature of reality is perfected in the continuum. In this way, these paths of the inseparability of the basis and result, in which the essential points of the indestructible bindu that is inherently present at the basis of all phenomena are struck, are not taught in the lower tantras. Therefore, it is the unsurpassed near path that makes beings of sharp faculties into those of the last existence, as it is said in the Secret Accomplishment: The goddess of wisdom is incomparable, this is called the Perfection of Wisdom, if one cultivates and understands this, one will be liberated from all sentient beings. Thus it is said. Now, in order to distinguish the nature of the vows that are the lifeblood of holding the accomplishments of secret mantra, the third is the vows that are conducive friends, one does not degenerate and protects the discipline of entering into mantra, with skillful means and

The unconfused interdependence, practice like injecting potent poison into a peacock's neck. If the samaya is not kept, then none of the virtues of mantra will be accomplished, therefore, one's own essence is merged into mantra, so that good conduct does not decline, and, regarding the distinction of its conduct, from one's own side, it is necessary to be sustained by means such as wisdom and samadhi, and that the acceptance and rejection of interdependent arising, which becomes an antidote to afflictions, is not mistaken, so that it does not become an obstacle to the path. For example, when a peacock itself lives by whatever conduct, the poisonous food is transformed into essence, and even the feathers become beautiful to look at, but if that food is given by someone else who possesses it, it is like losing life, and if it is not sustained by means and wisdom, merely entering the mantra path will not allow one to practice the conduct of the vow as it is. Division: There is a difference between samaya and vows. Samaya is not to be transgressed. Vows are the determination of what should and should not be done. The essence is one, but it is distinguished by opposites. As it is said in the seventh chapter of the Tantra of Sequential Combination: "Whatever is the samaya of the Buddhas is the vows of sentient beings, and whatever is the samaya of sentient beings is the vows of the Buddhas." The first of these, in the Buddha-ground, is that which cannot be transgressed from the nature of the samaya of great equality, and in the realm of sentient beings, it possesses abandonment and realization, so it exists as the nature of the vows of the path-time. The tantra says: "Means is the vow of bliss." The second is that the samaya that cannot be transgressed at the time of sentient beings, for the Buddhas, all dharmas are self-appearing. The nature of wisdom abides in the mantra vows of the resultant continuum that encompasses everything. The tantra says: "Then all dharmas are said to be Vajrasattva, the one encompassing." And in the Fierce Lightning it says: "Since all dharmas are pure from the beginning, wrong thoughts are completely pure from the beginning. Therefore, the vows are completely pure." Such vows and samayas are the stages of the path of learning, so if it is said that they have no connection to the Buddha-ground, then it is also unreasonable to explain the generation of the mind that has abandoned obscurations in the Buddha-ground by dividing it into four sets of mind generation in the Ornament of the Sutras. Thus, in the commentary on the Hundred and Fifty Verses, the samaya is something that can be transgressed.
