It is also called that. Second, the detailed classification of the dependent wind is: the moving wind has two types of flow, large and small. The large one flows twenty-one thousand six hundred times in one day and night. The small one is equal to the number of eighty-four thousand thoughts, and exists like a ride. For this, multiplying the seventy-two thousand channels by three, the four types of changes each have a flow rate of five thousand four hundred times, totaling up, for a mature man without disease, flowing twenty-one thousand six hundred times a day is the large flowing wind, as it says in the Root Tantra: The winds that depend on the channels, flow twenty-one thousand, six hundred times, are considered to be the large flowing wind. So it says. For the elderly, because the order of the elements declines, it is less than fifty-eight times. In general, being too active leads to a short life, being slow leads to suffering, etc. will occur. For young people whose elements have not matured, it is less than thirty-two times, long flow leads to long life, few diseases, and gathering of retinue. Short is the opposite of this. Strong is endowed with merit, weak is suffering. The small flow is, with those who are always thinking as the main ones, equal to the number of eighty-four thousand afflictions, becoming their ride, as it says in the Illusion Sutra: The others are four thousand eighty thousand. Like this. Moreover, apart from flowing from the mouth and nose, the small wind flowing in the channels as the basis of thoughts and wisdom, the sum of the flows from the pulsating channels separated from the enjoyment wheel, flows one hundred and twelve thousand six hundred times, as it says in the Root Tantra: From the channels निश्चित flows, one hundred thousand and twenty thousand, six thousand and six hundred, from the channels निश्चित arises, is considered to be the small flowing wind. So it says. In order to classify from the perspective of function, the root wind is life-sustaining, fire-accompanying, all-pervading, upward-moving, downward-eliminating, the five exist, the functions in order are maintaining life, relying on life, generating heat, body decline and growth, and the entry and exit of breath, the functions of walking, sitting, defecating, and urinating. Among them, the male wind is the upward-moving wind, located above. The female wind is the downward-eliminating wind, located below, the same as hermaphrodite. The internal wind is...

The pulse has five colors. It is the basis where the aggregates, elements, and sense bases reside. It is the basis for the arising of the five poisons and the five wisdoms. It is the basis for spreading like cause and effect. Among them, in terms of the five root winds, the life-sustaining wind resides in the heart, causing life to exist. The fire-equalizing wind resides in the stomach, causing warmth to descend. The pervasive wind resides in the entire body, causing the body to be nourished and grow. The upward-moving wind resides in the chest, performing breathing. The downward-clearing wind resides in the lower body, performing walking, sitting, and excretion, therefore it is called the outer five winds. The inner wind is the nature of the five elements, the earth wind is yellow, the water wind is white, the fire wind is red, the wind wind is green, and the space wind is blue. If viewed from the perspective of meditation, the shapes are also sequentially square, crescent, triangular, bow-like, and round. Relying on these, it becomes the basis where the inner aggregates, elements, and sense bases reside. Moreover, in impure times, it is the basis for the arising of the five poisons. In the stage of the path, relying on the samadhi of exhaustion, siddhis are accomplished. In pure times, it is the basis for the arising of the five wisdoms. If viewed from the perspective of the way they function, in summer the fire wind functions, in autumn the wind wind functions, in winter the water wind functions, and in spring the earth wind functions, therefore as an antidote, one can meditate in reverse, or meditate on the all-auspicious space wind, or meditate on whatever wind is suitable according to the illness and constitution. These can also be condensed into the three winds of male, female, and neuter. The male wind flows from the right nostril, the female wind flows from the left nostril, and the neuter wind flows evenly. One can also relate the winds of the five elements to the changes of the four seasons, men mainly practice the female wind, women mainly practice the male wind, and both mainly practice the neuter wind, then it is easy to master the five secret wisdom winds. These have no color or shape because they have no gross parts. Among them, in terms of the key points of the upward-moving, downward-clearing, and equally-dwelling winds, the way to become skilled in the three key points of suppressing the upper wind, gathering the lower wind, and filling the middle wind, is stated in the Ornament of Clear Realization: "It moves upward and excretes downward, in the middle, the wise seek the key point." Etc. Furthermore, there is shooting like an arrow, bending like a bow, filling like a vase, and tightening like a makara knot.
