I, the wisdom of uniting the emptiness of the inner mind's true nature, the union of skillful means and wisdom inseparable as one essence of two knowledges, the special means of not abiding in either extreme, is called means. Such means are superior because they are numerous, without difficulty, skillful, and swift. Thus, a person with sharp faculties, having understood the nature of their respective afflictions, relies on the yoga of deities and mantras that counteract them, and on the method of transforming concepts, being sustained by skillful conduct, and through many other gates, there is a means to liberate oneself and to subsequently take hold of others, therefore it is numerous in means. Without being burdened by asceticism and the practice of vows, the path to whatever one desires is open, and without having to accomplish it through hardship, there are many profound and vast means to subdue afflictions and liberate oneself and others, therefore it is without difficulty. Even if one engages in non-virtuous actions such as the five heinous crimes and transgressions, one is not bound by them, but is skilled in the means of guiding beings. Unlike the characteristic vehicle, one does not have to practice the vast conduct of the grounds and perfections for a long time, but there is a means to quickly accomplish it in this very life, therefore it is a swift means. Moreover, the reason for its swiftness is that the object of focus, companions, and subsequent conduct are vast. As it is said: 'The object of focus is completely pure, the power of friends and conduct, the vehicle of the wise, is proclaimed as the great among the great.' Thus, the swiftness of the completely pure object of focus is that the appearance of the deity, which completely purifies the continuum of the habits of elaboration, and the profound conduct of desire, by inserting the wind into the central channel, are able to quickly reverse the deluded appearance. By holding the vows of the Buddhas, one can reverse the ripening of karma, and blessings and a great accumulation of merit naturally arise, and those with sharp faculties are able to naturally enter into the great equality of the pure realm of phenomena. The swiftness from the gate of conduct is that one is not burdened by asceticism and vows, therefore one has harmonious companions, and all thoughts do not become obstacles on the path, and equal and harmonious conduct, stable

Becoming a burden of unified thought through the practice of renunciation, benefiting beings by practicing various aspects of Dharma, helping each other, and the increase or decrease of rituals mixed with the same conduct, does not lead to the obstacle of doubt. Although the meaning is the same, it is not ignorant. There are many methods but no difficulties. Because it is dominated by sharp faculties. The vehicle of mantra is particularly supreme. Thus, it guides all. Here, some think that the many methods refer to a specific individual. They believe that it can also be achieved through the path of seeing and transcendence. The path of transcendence is taken as the cause and subsequent path, and because of errors in method, it becomes an obstacle to sharp faculties. In mantra, the result and manifestation are taken as the path, so the entrance to the vehicle itself is also ignorant. From the perspective of characteristics, there is nothing other than contemplating the external appearance of true clinging as illusion and dispelling it with the wisdom of complete imputation, so one is ignorant of the arising wisdom of the perfectly established nature. Even giving away one's head and so on does not benefit many beings, so in mantra, the supreme method of perfecting the benefit of many beings is not ignorant through seeking. Similarly, because one does not understand the inner aggregates, realms, and sources as the three complete deities, one is ignorant of the meaning of reality and cannot do all things related to oneself at once. Because one does not understand that secret conceptual thoughts and afflictions are wisdom, one is ignorant of the form of the path, and one cannot enter the ocean of ultimate wisdom without abandoning conceptual thoughts. Because of obtaining the transference of blessings, one does not understand that all dharmas are naturally pure and equal, and that the truth beyond mind is inseparable, and transforming the nominal ultimate into the object of sound discrimination, thinking that one has realized it, this is freedom from elaboration. There is a difference between the two types of realization, such as realizing from the wisdom of empowerment, so one is ignorant of the view of realization, which is not understood by the wisdom of consciousness and discrimination. In particular, the unsurpassed secret mantra comes from illusion. In the "Vajra Body Limb," it is said that the five complete Buddhas are known as the five Buddhas. The many sources and realms are all the nature of Bodhisattvas. Earth is water and Buddha Eye Mother, fire is wind and White-Clothed Tara, space is the sovereign mother of the Dharma realm.
