I should not be abandoned! The hand symbols of the gods are beautiful, and the marks of the gods' vehicles. They should not be scorned or despised, and no harm should be done to sentient beings. Thus it is said. The bodies and hand symbols of the gods, and the vehicles of the gods, and the inferior shadows of the gods, and all the signs of the gods, and the various foods, made into the form of signs, should never be trampled upon. Thus it is said. In particular, killing and taking what is not given, etc., whether directly shown or intended as prophecy, the mantra practitioner who does not distinguish will fall downwards. In general, in all situations of the Great Vehicle, four things are taught: straightforwardness, definiteness, hidden meaning, and intention. Therefore, not all the meanings of the Buddha's words are to be taken literally, nor is it to be assumed that they are entirely contrary to the literal meaning. For the words of the Tathagata are not entirely subject to the power of sound and words. In particular, in the practice of mantra, if one does not fully understand the difference between the intention of merely practicing with faith and the grace given to those who have perfected realization and practice, then practicing literally with hidden intentions will lead to falling into the lower realms. The great commentary on the Vinaya says: In the mantra vehicle, because the hidden meaning is not understood by others, killing and so on, and enjoying the property of monasteries and temples, and clinging to external objects by holding to views of permanence and annihilation, if one does so, one will offend the Three Jewels in the guise of a teacher and will go to hell. Thus it is said. Therefore, in this Vajrayana text, when revealing hidden secrets, for the larger parts of the words, through the three doors of outer, inner, and secret, it is shown that the meaning of the tantra is not contradicted; and when the meaning does not fit but is made to fit, it is also shown through the means of self-nature, having intention, and having a connection of meaning and symbols, that it does not contradict the true meaning but conforms to the form. Therefore, dividing a single word into two parts, direct teaching and intended prophecy, is also a non-contradiction in the realm of meaning, but only a difference in name. Here, taking the level of direct teaching as an example, like this, one who realizes the hidden secret, the true meaning of the nature of things, is under the control of skillful means and great compassion.

At the time of becoming, the hidden secrets, Tana (ཏ་ན་, Sanskrit: तना, Roman transliteration: tana, meaning to stretch, extend) and Ghana (ག་ན་, Sanskrit: घन, Roman transliteration: ghana, meaning thick, solid), etc., are mixed with the asceticism of the supreme Samata-jnana, and the way they enter as they sound is also fully grasped by the great essence of method and wisdom, and they are completely purified by the way of transformation. However, in the stage of the Pratimoksha vows, if the four Parajikas such as killing occur, the four root vows will be destroyed. All these five unwholesome friends, including alcohol, are used here as the vows of the five families, so there is no reason to classify such contradictory things as consistent in meaning. Even people like the Lord Lha Lama (མངའ་བདག་ལྷ་བླ་མ་) consider the Sutra and Tantra rituals to be contradictory, and regard the Guhyasamaja Tantra and others as impure. This should be explained: Thus, the vows of the Shravakas are the colored vows generated by the Vijnanavadins who cling to reality. For example, at the time of killing, consciousness abides autonomously, experiencing the afflictions arising from hatred. In this state, with the intention of killing, one accepts the action, and ultimately cuts off the life of another, thereby completing the limbs of the Parajika of killing, and the root of the vows is destroyed. In the stage of the Bodhisattva vows, one turns away from the mind of harming others, and with method as the main thing, one engages in benefiting others through the power of great compassion, thus transcending the sins and unwholesomeness that possess such limbs. In the stage of mantra, from the aspect of method, it is generated by the mind of great compassion; from the aspect of wisdom, it is free from clinging to reality, and transcends the wrong discriminations of clinging to characteristics, thus the limbs of killing are not complete. As it is said in Illusion: "Neither existence nor non-existence are seen in the middle way." Therefore, it is the category of ultimate truth. As it is shown in "Illusion is like an eye disease," it is the manifestation of conventional truth. As it is said in "There is no life to kill, even if there is no life," it shows that self-nature is not established, and therefore karma is not established, and the basis is not established. As it is said in "Life and birth are merely wrong discriminations," both the agent and the action appear as merely wrong discriminations arising from illusion, therefore there is no self-nature.
