Vast wisdom, if all consciousnesses are not of the same kind, then, like this, the alaya-consciousness will not arise from causes. Thus it is said. In the Vajra Garland it says: All enter the aggregate of consciousness, that consciousness is also luminous, Nirvana and all emptiness, it is also said to be the Dharmakaya. Thus it is said. If it is like that, Buddha and sentient beings are not different, then the activity of the Victorious One will also become futile, if it is said like that. The ultimate Buddha, because there is no partiality and limitation, therefore it is without self-nature. In the Lankavatara Sutra it says: The Buddhas are the Dharmakaya, pure like the sky. Thus it is said. Since it is like that, the last wheel of Dharma is abiding in the nature of the three wheels completely pure, therefore, thinking this is the Buddha, this is his activity, is still not liberated from the cage of the mind that appears as dualistic. Therefore, clinging to a part and focusing on the qualities of the form body for the benefit of others, as the ultimate to be attained, is contrary to the Mahayana Vajra Cutter Sutra. In the sutra it says: Those who see me in form, those who know me by sound, this person has entered a wrong path, and cannot see the Tathagata. Thus it is said. In this way, after understanding the abiding way of the Vajra body, in order to easily realize the abiding way of the self-fruit essence that hits the key point, the way to learn the two kinds of skillful means. Like this: After understanding the abiding way of the Vajra body, and the abiding way of the primordial base, fierce fire and illusory body, or confusion, clear light bardo and transference of consciousness six dharmas, are accomplished by the effort of the practitioner, not relying on other factors, therefore the self is the skillful means path. Among them, there are two kinds: self-possessed skillful means and relying on another's body consort. The first is the root of the path, fierce fire, the basis is the illusory body, the warmth is dream practice, the heart essence is clear light, the weariness is the bardo, the decision is the transference of consciousness, these six are accomplished by the power of one's own effort, not relying on other factors, therefore it is called self-possessed skillful means. Among them, first is the path of secret empowerment, fierce fire, after making the continuum suitable through the preliminary stages, the seven dharmas of Vairochana in the essential places of the body are Longchen Rab

From 'abhyams las. Pages 501 to 600. Assume the vajra posture. The two hands are joined in equipoise. The body is straightened like an arrow shaft. The arms are extended like the wings of a vulture. The neck is bent like a bowstring. The vital point of the body is fixed like a pig rooting in a boat. The eyes and the tip of the nose are aligned with the tip of the mind. Like that, or in a relaxed posture, in the state of clear emptiness like an illusion of the deity's body in the completion stage, meditate on emptiness. Visualize the three channels and the chakras. And on them, place the sequence of letters such as a ka ca ṭa ta pa ya śa la (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal meaning in Chinese). Be skilled in eliminating wind disorders and in the timing of the essential points of the movement of winds such as the equally moving wisdom wind. Be skilled in the four essential points of inhaling, filling, holding, and exhaling. Focus on the four elemental winds as being like a rainbow. Prevent the faults of scattered winds. Prolong the time spent dwelling within the duration of the receptacle. Know the struggle of burning drops and bindus. Know the essential points of the oral instructions such as the three vajra recitations of arising, dissolving, and abiding. By familiarizing oneself with and practicing these, as a sign of the wind entering the central channel, equanimity will arise during meditation, qualities will arise from abiding, the coarse movement of the nostrils will cease, and from dissolving, the movement of the nostrils will shift elsewhere, and phenomena such as the hairs in the nostrils not moving will occur. If the wind sinks or scatters, this may occur. As a sign, if it sinks, the object will not be clear. If it scatters, qualities will not arise. Having understood these differences, it is crucial to focus single-pointedly on the object, like threading a needle. Therefore, one should understand how to accomplish single-pointed samadhi, such as through the yoga of subtle bindus, in the state of wind-essence union, according to the certainty of the respective tantras and oral instructions. Having meditated in this way, the signs that appear are: when earth dissolves into water, mirages appear. When water dissolves into fire, smoke appears. When fire dissolves into wind, aerial phenomena appear. When wind tends to dissolve into perception, a lamp appears. When actually dissolving, it is emptiness. When perception dissolves into increase, it is very emptiness. When increase dissolves into near attainment, it is great emptiness. When near attainment dissolves into clear light, it is all emptiness or clear light dawns. Similarly, the joy arising from burning drops
