Therefore, having realized the spontaneously accomplished Vidyadhara, one passes into sorrow in the Dharma of Seeing. As it is said in the Lamrim: Having perfected the entry into seeing the meaning, By the accomplishment of accumulating practice, The body, realm, birth, and outflows are exhausted, Transformed into a Vajra body, the seed of life, In the Dharma of Seeing, one passes into sorrow, Without abandoning this body, one becomes a Victor. So it is. Some tantric texts say that one attains enlightenment by going to the realm of the Dakinis in one lifetime and one body, or in seven lifetimes, or at the latest in sixteen lifetimes. Similarly, here, like Padmasambhava, the second Buddha, the body of Tshewang (Life Empowerment) is made so that even the name of birth and death does not exist, or although one attains the accomplishment of gradual entry, the aggregates of a hundred and sixteen years of life are repeatedly extended, and in one lifetime between one thousand and six hundred years, one attains the Vidyadhara of ultimate spontaneous accomplishment. In the extensive explanation, it says: Life is the number of sixteen, Extended and dwelt in hundreds of hundreds, Without abandoning this body, one becomes a Buddha, The outflows of the three outflows are not in that. So it is. Here, considering the sixteen years of life as entering a corpse is contrary to the statement that one becomes a Buddha without abandoning this body, which indicates the last existence with an end. Moreover, the Vajrasekhara Sutra says: At the end of sixteen births, One will attain the peaceful Buddha. So it is, and in terms of function, the meaning is the same, only the difference between extending life and experiencing rebirth. Here, the Jonangpas believe that those who have seen the truth of Dharma but have not been able to purify the body of ripening are the Vidyadharas of Ripening, and those who have been able to purify and transform into a pure body are the Tshewang Vidyadharas. As a basis for understanding, they quote from the Small Path: Whether power is obtained or not, It becomes two paths of seeing. So it is. The views of these two are measured from the perspective of whether or not they rely on the sharpness or dullness of the faculties and the practice of proximate causes. The former, as explained in the Lamrim, is that those with dull faculties are not related to the practice of proximate causes, and because the subtle obscurations related to the outflows of the channels, winds, and bindus obscure the uninterrupted path of the first ground, it is said that they cause obstacles to the path of seeing. Those with sharp faculties, as explained in the Small Path, rely on the power of the practice of proximate causes, and in terms of the body, they are on the path of seeing.

Since what is explained here aligns with the general discourses of both Sutra and Tantra, it should not be regarded as contradictory. For example, through the stability of the generation stage (kyerim), relying on the karma mudra (las rgya) from the proximate cause of conduct, one attains the eight qualities of a subtle and light body that are in accordance with the desired deity, which is the desire-realm vidyadhara. And relying on the wisdom mudra (ye rgya), dull faculties use the coarse human body as a basis, while sharp faculties accomplish it in the same way as the former. Both transform from the basis of the desire-realm vidyadhara, exhausting the realms of the five degenerations, into the vidyadhara of the rainbow body, the pure essence. Among these, the desire-realm vidyadhara may come to the human realm and be visible, but the rainbow body vidyadhara, due to the difference in realms, does not directly appear in the human realm, yet benefits others through emanations. They themselves also enter the completion stage (dzogrim) through that basis, thereby accomplishing the supreme and unsurpassed siddhi. Even if one can understand the contradictions between these two views and reconcile them, it should be understood as due to the power of this instruction manual. In short, relying on the generation stage, one traverses the path of accumulation (tsok lam), and it is crucial to connect the two stages into union (zungjuk) upon obtaining great warmth. In the system of the Compendium (Dus pa), it is said, "The skillful means of meaningful union," which refers to the generation stage. "All sentient beings' realms are like illusions and images, equal in nature, and created by conditions," refers to wisdom. "External environment is completely isolated" refers to body isolation. "Internal environment is completely isolated" refers to speech isolation. And the samadhi of these, the objects of those body and speech isolations, with the blessing of the mind looking outward, is mind isolation. "The stages of the ground" refers to the seven grounds of the generation stage. "The three isolations" are the eighth and ninth grounds. The deity form of the illusion-like samadhi is the self-arisen blessing samadhi within the illusion. The absence of the three appearances of one's own mind, being completely pure, abides in the prajnaparamita of clear light. And the subsequent attainment of "birth" refers to the clear light of learning, union, and the bodhisattva free from action, following the body of the Thus-Gone One, possessing the emanation of the Thus-Gone One, and so on.
