Having made the attainment of the body of Nadpe (Tibetan: ན་དཔེ) as the cause, reaching the state of spontaneous accomplishment of the two benefits is also the complete basis of the lineage of the fruit to be obtained. How these two become the maturing factor of the completion stage, and the characteristics of purity, completion, and maturation will be explained below. Thus, in order to manifest the lineage of the fruit, the two, the proximate cause and the co-emergent condition, must be gathered like skillful means and wisdom. Therefore, the proximate cause is the lineage of the basis or cause, and the agent is the lineage of skillful means or the path. Therefore, the three, samsara, nirvana, and the path, are all included in the lineage of the basis, path, and fruit, as stated in the Hevajra Tantra: This itself is called samsara, this itself is nirvana itself. Having abandoned samsara, in another place, nirvana cannot be realized. Therefore, at the time of co-emergent nature, appearance is samsara, emptiness is nirvana. At the time of practice, the mind is samsara, the absence of self-nature is nirvana. At the time of the lineage of the fruit, spontaneous accomplishment is samsara, the change of place is nirvana. All of these are combined with the key instructions of the path, the lineage of skillful means, therefore skillful means and the lineage of cause and fruit exist in the three. To this, The mind's nature that all sentient beings inherently possess is the essence of the Sugata, the indestructible essence with three characteristics. If one realizes it, it is nirvana, and if one does not realize it, it becomes the cause of samsara. Whatever does not change and continues to exist in all of samsara and nirvana is called the lineage of the basis or cause. From the perspective of essence and the absence of bondage and liberation, it is the reality of the way things are. From the perspective of appearance, even with defilements, it has never been stained by its own nature, therefore it is the Tathagatagarbha. From the perspective of the absence of characteristics, it is the Dharmakaya. From the perspective of the unceasing radiance of self-nature, it is the support of the qualities of the Rupakaya. At the time of the path, it becomes various names such as Bodhicitta, the inseparability of truth, and self-born wisdom. Although there is no support and no attainment of mastery, it is said in the tantra: Self-born wisdom appears nowhere. Thus, relying on the co-emergent condition, the uninterrupted key instructions, the lineage of skillful means, having purified the sudden defilements, in the completely pure realm, various displays of body and wisdom appear, this is the lineage of the fruit that cannot be taken away by others. Such a basis and path

The resultant tantra must be established based on the three valid cognitions that are all-encompassing. These are: the valid cognition of the Buddha's immaculate teachings; the valid cognition of the instructions that scholars have practiced and possess the power of liberation; and the valid cognition of reasoning that agrees with both. As the Vajra Mirror says: "Through teachings, reasoning, and instructions, whatever is measured by valid cognitions, will cause knowable things to be comprehended." Thus, to comprehend the meaning of the tantra, one must rely on the three kinds of faith established by the three valid cognitions, as it says in the Kalachakra: "First, one should have faith in the guru. After that, one should have faith in oneself. After that, one should have faith in the king of tantras. Thus, through the three kinds of faith, one will realize all the meanings of the tantra." Furthermore, in the tenets of the Mantrayana tradition, one must first correctly understand the view to be realized, which is the suchness of the ground, continuum, and reality. As the feet of the Victorious Ones say: "For that, it is essential to first know reality. Although there are many forms due to the power of the vehicle, the definitive essence, the indivisible truth, is the secret treasury of all the Buddhas." Knowing this cannot be definitively established merely by seemingly valid scriptures and reasoning that wander in conceptual proliferation. Therefore, one should seek a guru who possesses the qualities and, trusting him from the depths of one's heart, maintain the perception of him as a Buddha. By the iron hook of devotion, one should subdue the wisdom of the guru's mind, which is utterly non-conceptual, and not have doubts about the nature of reality that one directly sees. This is called having faith in oneself. As it says in the Two Examinations: "Not spoken by others, co-emergent, not found anywhere, it is known from the guru's skillful means and one's own mind." At that time, by realizing how the nature abides, which is not merely a conceptual understanding, all phenomena are without arising or ceasing in ultimate truth, and in conventional truth, they do not cease as mere illusion. Since they agree with the Paramitas only in name, there is no second acceptance of the view of Sutra and Tantra on the path of words. However, on the path of Mantra, all aspects of conventionality self-arise as the play of completely pure deities, and the two truths are also simultaneously self-perfected in nature.
