Furthermore, in the detailed ritual of the Amoghapāśa Tantra, it says: One should direct one's gaze towards the wrathful-faced Bhagavan, and on the right side is the goddess Tārā, possessing a beautiful demeanor, leaning forward, with her eyes fixed on the mudra of bestowing the supreme. On the left is the noble one of the lotus family, possessing a beautiful demeanor, in accordance with the form and meaning of the mantra, with his eyes fixed on the Amoghapāśa. Also, in the Vajraśekhara Tantra, it says: The assembly of deities in the mandala, the male also look at the female, and the female also look at the male. Therefore, the deities of the Action Tantra appear with wide-open eyes. In the age of the three unions, in order to subdue those with desire satisfied by laughter, the deities of the Conduct Tantra also demonstrate similarly. In the Manifestation of Vairocana, it says: To his right is the goddess called Buddhalocanā, the goddess with a slightly smiling face, a fathom's length of a circle of light, an incomparable body utterly pure, she is the mother of Śākyamuni. It also says: The great king Vairochana, should be depicted with a slightly smiling face. And so forth, therefore all the deities of the Conduct Tantra are only smiling. In the age of the two unions, in order to subdue those with desire for touching and holding hands, the deities of the Yoga Tantra also demonstrate in this way, as in the Crest Jewel Tantra: The Vajra Goddess makes a clamorous sound, embracing her own goddess with her knees, her head turned on his chest, looking everywhere with a smile, embracing the feet of the Bhagavan. Also, in the Śrīparamādya Tantra, it says: The assembly of deities in the mandala, their arms placed slightly close together. It also says: On his side is the great Vajra, striving to draw the arrow, completely embracing with an affectionate gesture, raising the makara banner. Therefore, all the deities of the Yoga Tantra appear connected by mudras. In the age of strife, in order to subdue those with desire for the actual union of the two organs, the deities of the Anuttara Tantra are shown as united in yab-yum. In the Root Tantra of the Vows, it says: Having recited the mantra over the two organs, the mantra practitioner unites with the ḍākinī. Also, in the Guhyasamāja Tantra, it says: All things of the union of the two organs should be examined. Thus, the tantra classes are understood through the means of naming and classification.

I have explained the differences of those to be tamed who are known in common. Now, it is the way to distinguish the individual natures. If distinguished, they are the tantras of action and conduct. The deities of heroes and heroines are the deities of vidyā mantras and dhāraṇī mantras. Action is the relationship of master and servant, conduct is the relationship of brothers and friends. Action is the relationship of master and servant, and when practicing, without self-generation, one places oneself in a lower position. Some have self-generation, but mainly show the front generation. External actions mainly involve bathing and cleanliness. Practicing in a superior and inferior manner, one desires accomplishment. In general, the classification of mantras includes vidyā mantras, dhāraṇī mantras, and secret mantras, which refers to the way they exist in the three natures of means, wisdom, and non-duality. In the tantra where the thought is accomplished, it says: The classification of all secret mantras should be known as threefold. Vidyā mantra is the nature of means, dhāraṇī mantra is the nature of wisdom, and secret mantra is non-dual wisdom. From these, the outsiders are those who cultivate means and wisdom in sequence, merely the generation stage and completion stage. Among them, the tantras of action and conduct are the heroes and heroines, the deities of vidyā mantras and dhāraṇī mantras. These two ways of practice are the relationship of master and servant and the relationship of brothers and friends. First, the action tantra belonging to dhāraṇī mantras, in the "Lamp of Three Ways" it says: Due to the habitual imprints of previous lives, without places in forests where there are no people, bathing, drawing mandalas, offerings, fire offerings, asceticism, and recitations, it is impossible to calm the mind, therefore the action tantra is taught. Those who have a strong attachment to suchness can also attain wisdom through the actions spoken by the Sugata due to the power of faith, therefore it is dependent on actions. For these, there are not many branches of action, but the root tantra is taught. And so on. The root tantra here has the same meaning as the conduct tantra, therefore the teacher Buddha Secret calls it the conduct tantra, although it has this name, in reality it does not have this nature, because it is already included in the action and yoga tantras. In accordance with this, in the commentary on the Jewel Heap Sutra, it is also said that the action tantra is special, or the tantra of both, and the intention is only limited to this, otherwise the root tantra is the Vairocanābhisambodhi Tantra.
