It is not merely dependent origination. Second, reasoning should be done through three aspects: establishing the thesis, establishing the reason, and examining with valid cognition through pervasive certainty. Among these, the first is: if it pervades being separate from one and many, then it also pervades being empty of true entities. The second is: as the noble teacher said, 'Just as a moment of space exists, so should the beginning and middle be examined. Because it is the nature of three moments, the world does not abide in a moment.' Therefore, from the sign of existing between day and night, or between morning and evening, or between prior and subsequent moments, it is inferred to have three parts, thus establishing the property of the thesis that exists in ultimate reality, separate from indivisible oneness. The third is: the Lord of Reasoning said, 'Whatever has the ability to perform a function, that is not ultimately existent here.' That is to say, merely existing entities, by merely negating being multiple entities, is one. One determines when an entity exists. Because merely existing entities are certainly pervaded by existing as one or existing as many, therefore, this existing entity, which is seen as the pervader of one and many, even if it is an ultimate entity, because its oneness and multiplicity do not pervade it, the ability to generate doubt is destroyed, and the ultimate entity is pervaded by oneness and multiplicity, implicitly established in the manner of defining characteristics. Therefore, my lama, who has crossed to the other side of the ocean of self and other tenets, holds this view, so do not generate contempt by saying that there was no explanation of the meaning of the great Madhyamaka reasoning in early Tibet. Second, regarding the classification of acceptance: the definition of mere truth is any dharma that lacks inherent existence. The definition of conventional truth is any subject that cannot withstand analysis by the mind. The definition of ultimate reality is that which can withstand analysis by the mind. If that is the case, does that which can withstand analysis by the mind depend on conceptual imputation or not? If it does not depend, then it contradicts the term 'can withstand analysis.' If it depends, then 'can withstand analysis' contradicts ultimate truth. If it is thought in this way, at the time of meditative wisdom, the non-conceptual wisdom of higher seeing has the characteristic of ultimate truth, so when it transcends the scope of ordinary beings' minds, that is how it is. However, here, with the sharp analysis of the wisdom of thought, one individually discerns, exposing the flaws in the way things naturally exist.
