་རྟོག་གེ་བ་རྣམས་མཐུན་པར་གནས་སོ། །ལམ་གྱི་རྣམ་གཞག་ནི། བདེན་བཞིའི་རྣམ་པ་མི་རྟག་པ་སོགས་བཅུ་དྲུག་པོ། ཉིད་ཀྱང་མིང་གིས་བཏགས་པ་གང་ཟག་རང་རྐྱ་ཐུབ་པའི་རྫས་ཡོད་ཀྱི་སྟོང་པར་རྟོགས་པའི་གང་ཟག་གི་བདག་མེད་རྟོགས་པའི་ཤེས་རབ་རྐྱང་པ་ཐབས་སྙིང་རྗེ་ཆེན་པོ་སོགས་དང་མ་འབྲེལ་བར་ ཉམས་སུ་ལེན་པ་ནི་ཐེག་དམན་རང་ལམ་ཡིན་ལ། ཤེས་རབ་དེ་དང་སེམས་ཅན་ལའང་ཕན་པར་འདོད་པའི་བསམ་པ་ཕུན་སུམ་ཚོགས་པ་ཟུང་དུ་སྦྲེལ་བ་ནི་ཐེག་ཆེན་གྱི་ཉམས་སུ་ལེན་ཚུལ་དང༌། དམན་མཆོག་གི་ལམ་བགྲོད་ཚུལ་སྔ་མ་དང་ཕྱོགས་མཚུངས་པ་ལས། ལམ་གྱི་སྤང་བྱ་སྒྲིབ་པ་ལ་ཡང་གང་ཟག་གི་བདག་འཛིན་དང་ཉོན་མོངས་པ་ཅན་གྱིས་མི་ཤེས་པ་དང༌། ཉོན་མོངས་པ་ཅན་མ་ཡིན་པའི་མི་ཤེས་པ་སོགས་ཀྱི་ཐ་སྙད་ཙམ་ལས། ཆོས་ཀྱི་བདག་འཛིན་དང༌། ཤེས་སྒྲིབ་སོགས་ཀྱི་ཐ་སྙད་ཁས་མི་ལེན་ནོ། །འབྲས་བུའི་ངོ་ནས་བརྗོད་ན་མི་རྟག་པ་སོགས་བཅུ་དྲུག་པོ་རྐྱང་པ་ཙམ་བསྒོམ་པས་ཉོན་མོངས་པ་ཅན་གྱིས་མི་ཤེས་པ་ཙམ་སྤངས་ཏེ། དགྲ་བཅོམ་པའི་གོ་འཕང་མངོན་བྱེད་ནི་དམན་པའི་བྱང་ཆུབ་དང༌། དེ་བཞིན་དུ་མྱང་འདས་གཉིས་ཀྱི་མཚོན་པའི་འགོག་བདེན་རྣམས་ཆོས་དཀོན་མཆོག་དང༌། ལམ་བདེན་དགེ་འདུན་དཀོན་མཆོག་ཏུ་འདོད་པའོ། །ཐབས་སྙིང་རྗེ་ཆེན་པོ་ལ་སོགས་ཐེག་ཆེན་གྱི་ལམ་དང་རྗེས་སུ་འབྲེལ་བར་ཉམས་སུ་བླངས་པས་མི་ཤེས་པ་གཉིས་ཀའི་ས་བོན་དྲུང་ནས་ཕྱུང་སྟེ། སྤངས་པ་ཁྱད་པར་ཅན་གསུམ་ལྡན་དང༌། རྟོགས་པ་ཁྱད་པར་ གསུམ་ལྡན་གྱིས་རང་དོན་མཐར་ཕྱིན་པའི་བདེ་གཤེགས་གཉིས་ལས་གཞན་དོན་མཐར་ཐུག་སྐྱོབ་བས་གདུལ་བྱ་ལ་བདེན་པ་བཞིའི་ཆོས་འཁོར་བསྐོར་ཏེ་སྨིན་གྲོལ་ལ་འགོད་པ་ནི་བླ་ན་མེད་པའི་བྱང་ཆུབ་ཀྱི་འབྲས་བུར་འདོད་དོ། །དེའང་རིགས་ཀྱི་སྒོ་ནས་དབྱེ་བ་བཞིར་འདོད་དེ་ཇོ་བོས། ཉན་ཐོས་རྣམ་བཞི་སྤྲུལ་པ་དང༌། རྫོགས་པའི་བྱང་ཆུབ་འགྱུར་བ་དང༌། །ཞི་བགྲོད་གྲུབ་མཐའ་འཛིན་པའོ། །ཞེས་བཤད་པ་ལས། སྤྲུལ་པའི་ཉན་ཐོས་ནི་མཆོག་ཟུང་དང་རབ་འབྱོར་དང་མ་འགགས་པ་ལ་སོགས་སོ། །མྱང་འདས་ལས་ནི་ལྷས་བྱིན་དང་དྲུག་སྟེ་ཡང་དེར་བསྡུས་སོ། །རྫོགས་པའི་བྱང་ཆུབ་ཏུ་འགྱུར་བ་ནི་སྦྱོར་ལམ་བཟོད་པ་ཐོབ་ནས་སངས་རྒྱས་སུ་འགྱུར་བའི་ཚུལ་བཤད་མ་ཐག་པ་མཛོད་རྩ་འགྲེལ་གྱིས་བསྟན་ཏོ། །ཞི་བ་བགྲོད་པ་ནི་རང་ལམ་ནས་ཇི་ལྟར་བཤད་པ་ལྟར་འཇུག་པའོ། །གྲུབ་མཐའ་འཛིན་པ་ནི་བསམ་པ་ཐེག་ཆེན་པས་ཉན་ཐོས་ཀྱི་གྲུབ་མཐའ་འཛིན་པའོ། །དེའང་མདོ་སྡེ་རྒྱ

The logicians abide harmoniously. Regarding the classification of the path: the aspects of the four truths, such as the sixteen impermanences. Merely meditating on the emptiness of a person who is independently existent, who is merely labeled by name, and realizing the selflessness of the person with mere wisdom, without associating with skillful means, great compassion, etc., is the self-path of the Lesser Vehicle. Combining that wisdom with the excellent intention of wanting to benefit sentient beings is the way of practicing the Great Vehicle. The way of traversing the path of the Lesser and Great is similar to the former, but regarding the obscurations to be abandoned on the path, there are only terms such as the ignorance of self-grasping of a person and afflictive ignorance, and non-afflictive ignorance, but they do not accept terms such as grasping at phenomena and cognitive obscurations. From the perspective of the result, merely meditating on the sixteen impermanences, etc., abandoning only afflictive ignorance, and manifesting the state of an Arhat is the enlightenment of the Lesser Vehicle. Similarly, the cessation truths represented by the two nirvanas are considered the Dharma Jewel, and the path truth is considered the Sangha Jewel. By practicing in accordance with the path of the Great Vehicle, such as skillful means and great compassion, uprooting the seeds of both ignorances, and possessing three special abandonments and three special realizations, other than the Sugatas who have perfected their own benefit, ultimately protecting others by turning the wheel of Dharma of the four truths for those to be trained and establishing them in maturation and liberation, this is considered the result of unsurpassed enlightenment. Among these, from the perspective of lineage, there are four divisions, as Jowo (Atisha) said: "The four types of Hearers are emanations, transformation into perfect enlightenment, peaceful conduct, and upholding tenets." Among these, the emanation Hearers are Shariputra, Subhuti, Aniruddha, and so on. From nirvana, Devadatta and the six are also included there. Transforming into perfect enlightenment refers to the way of transforming into a Buddha after obtaining forbearance on the path of joining, as explained in the root commentary of the Treasury of Knowledge. Peaceful conduct refers to engaging as explained in one's own path. Upholding tenets refers to upholding the tenets of the Hearer Vehicle with the intention of the Great Vehicle. This is also the Sutra School.
