When becoming an embodiment of glory, a beggar with a severed waist even begged for an axe. After accumulating many carpenter's tools, he sawed off his own waist with a sharp saw and gave it away. When becoming King Moonlight, he cut off his head and offered it to the eyes of a fierce Brahmin. When becoming Earth Walker Sky, he accepted all three kinds of giving: giving, great giving, and extreme giving. In the time of later giving, the waves of his own body's blood surged, and the suffering of the feeling of being touched by weapons was extremely difficult to endure, and he repeatedly thought of the way to connect with inexhaustible prayers for hundreds of years. As it is said in the Sutra of the Confluence of Vasa Water River: Wives and children, royal power and great wealth, and flesh, blood, fat, body and eyes, I have given them to please others. Whatever benefits sentient beings is the best offering to me. Harming sentient beings is harming me. Therefore, like this, my body is like a pile of unclean vomit, and life is like a violent storm, extremely shaky, both of which follow like karma, so they are subject to others. Even if guarded in every way, they are extremely ravaged by fire, water, cliffs, kings, beasts, and robbers, so they are not masters of themselves. Even if it were not so, as asked by King Bright: Great King, even if you ride on an elephant's saddle, or horseback, or chariot, holding conch shells, drums, pottery drums, hand drums, playing various musical instruments, holding umbrellas, banners, pennants, victory banners, waving jeweled-handled cool fans, fly whisks, and fans made of Tala trees, elephants, cavalry, and small troops follow behind, princes, Brahmin educated officials, guides, hundreds and thousands of people salute with folded hands, and say "Triumphantly return! Triumphantly return!" sweetly praising, but experiencing the coming of death will not be long, and you will die motionless in bed.

Lifted by four, fathers and mothers, brothers, sisters, wives, sons and daughters, attendant friends, male and female servants, workers, those who live on shares, ministers, and the people of the city also fell into sorrow, raising their hands and beating their chests, crying out with extreme sorrow: Alas, my son! Alas, my protector! Alas, my warrior! Alas, my master! Those with long beards and the people of the city saw with fear, carried out from the south gate of the city and buried underground, or buried in a desolate temple, also eaten by crows and vultures and foxes, and those bones were also burned by fire, or thrown into the water, or buried underground and turned into powder by the wind and the sun and the rain, scattered in all directions and rotting there. Great king, the nature of the bodies of all beings is like this, so impermanent, so unstable, so unreliable, so completely destructive in nature, short-lived, not abiding, changing, moving, ultimately destructive, momentary, ultimately falling, the gate of exhaustion and destruction, etc., is completely destructive in nature. And, one should not be attached to the pleasures of kingship and power and the enjoyment of desires. Do not be complacent with the fullness of life and health. As it is said, this body, which must ultimately be abandoned involuntarily, thinking when will I be able to give it away to others? One should repeatedly practice giving from the mind, and if one does not practice in this way, it will not mature, and one will not experience the moment when one can give up body and life, as it is also said in the Compendium of Trainings. Similarly, in the Jataka tales it is said: The selfless, decaying, insubstantial body, full of suffering, without defilement, constantly impure, if one uses the body to benefit others, but does not rejoice, that is not wise. And, in the Bodhicharyavatara it is said: At the same time as giving up everything, giving to sentient beings is the best. Like this, this is what one initially begins to become accustomed to, the hand of a person bound by stinginess, is the intention of giving from one hand to the other.
