Because thoughts of arrogance and dejection do not arise, and because one does not become arrogant due to the unbearable hardships of practicing with discipline, and focuses on benefiting others; because mere patience cannot overcome afflictions, and one does not become dejected by vast activities; one cannot deny or endure abandonment, etc.; because one knows the advantages and disadvantages of patience, one does not become weary of wrong practices; because one knows that the basis for initiating diligence is not inverted, and is skilled in preventing laziness, one can quickly complete the path; regarding the causes of samsara and the limbs of enlightenment, one can correctly distinguish the nature of meditative concentration, and all such aspects depend on the manifestation of the suchness of wisdom. If the eye of wisdom is clear and open, even if a Bodhisattva gives away his own flesh, he will not discriminate like a medicinal tree, and will not become elevated or degraded because of it. Thus, it should be explained similarly for discipline and other aspects. Furthermore, a Bodhisattva who possesses wisdom, even if he becomes a Chakravartin king, will not be deceived by the qualities of desire; even if he has a strong mind of love for lovable beings, it will not be mixed with attachment; even if unbearable compassion arises for the suffering of others, he will not be overwhelmed by sorrow, and thus will not have laziness that becomes an obstacle to virtue; even if he has immeasurable joy in the perfections of others, his mind is like an illusion; even if he treats all beings with great equanimity, he will not directly neglect any altruistic deeds that need to be done, all of these are actions arising from wisdom like a minister. As it was said before: "Bodhisattvas who possess great royal power and have sense objects like divine substances, their nature does not change improperly, this is also due to the power of having a minister of wisdom qualities. For love that benefits others and has the same taste, the invasion of attachment is completely abandoned; for unbearable compassion for the suffering of others, one is not diminished by the burden of sorrow; even if one has supreme joy, there is no distraction; for the great equanimity that does not delay the benefit of beings, and these qualities and antidotes, are adorned by being blocked by great wisdom." In short, having certainty in the infallibility of cause and effect, and
